In 2008 the WSJ. ran one of those puff pieces on the democrat ‘front runners’. Biden was “tanned, rested and ready”.
Literally the last thing I ever heard about him.
One week later Obama announced his bid for the candidacy.
As far as I can tell, besides one magical summer as a lifeguard, he has done nothing else besides being tanned, rested and ready.
That phase will probably be chiseled on his tombstone.
