If Putin has a sense of humor, the Turks will have their four refineries self-destruct some time in the next few months.
They will then no longer have any need to buy crude oil from ISIS.
Putin isn’t going to a damn thing militarily. The Russians may rant and make ugly faces, but they are militarily and economically brittle. Tangling with the Turks in the middle east is a losing proposition for Russia. They are one MLRS strike from having their assets wiped out in Syria. Nor can they afford to divert 1/3 of their Air Force to the Black Sea to match the Turks.
The last thing Putin wants to do is draw in the rest of NATO on the Turks side.
I think Putin has figured out that if he goes after the moslem sisterhood, he’ll have to take out Barry too.
