  1. The 2nd Amendment folks should ditch this set-up area altogether and rally somewhere else that has no barricades or no-fly zones. Have plenty of drones aloft and bring plenty guns

  2. Mao’s maxim that “Power comes from the barrel of a gun” will be put to the test.
It’s just a shame that LEO and the guys on the taxpayer rolls will show up to fence and murder their brothers. I guess this is how the Gulag and KZ systems came into being – guys “just following orders” – regardless of the illegality and amorality of those orders.
Northam CANNOT do this alone – there must be willing executioners.

Keep that in mind when the butcher’s bill comes due.

  3. I generally don’t go to places or events that have TSA type screening, survellience and unnecessary rules. Last year, I went to Downtown Disney to meet some people for lunch – to enter, you had to empty your pockets, allow your bags to be searched, and walk through a metal detector just for the privilege of paying exorbitant prices for mediocre food. The prices didn’t bother me as much as the supposed security, and I will never go back there again.

This rally set-up is nothing more than another excuse to condition Americans into accepting overbearing restrictions in the name of security. Especially when compared to other nations, America is a fabulously safe country, and if someone wants to commit mass violence at a gathering, they will find a way to do so despite the supposed security measures imposed. Thank you, Virginia, for showing what a society consisting of cowed subjects will look like.

  4. …and WHERE are they going with this?

…well, since evil repeats across generations, HERE…

“And how we burned in the camps later, thinking: What would things have been like if every Security operative, when he went out at night to make an arrest, had been uncertain whether he would return alive and had to say good-bye to his family? Or if, during periods of mass arrests, as for example in Leningrad, when they arrested a quarter of the entire city, people had not simply sat there in their lairs, paling with terror at every bang of the downstairs door and at every step on the staircase, but had understood they had nothing left to lose and had boldly set up in the downstairs hall an ambush of half a dozen people with axes, hammers, pokers, or whatever else was at hand?… The Organs would very quickly have suffered a shortage of officers and transport and, notwithstanding all of Stalin’s thirst, the cursed machine would have ground to a halt! If…if…We didn’t love freedom enough. And even more – we had no awareness of the real situation…. We purely and simply deserved everything that happened afterward.”
-Aleksandr I. Solzhenitsyn , “The Gulag Archipelago”

  5. I hope some of those outside the kill cage brought bolt cutters to make large holes in the chain link fencing — especially if it’s a timed and coordinated effort all around the perimeter with dozens of cuts made at the same time.

    25
  6. Uncle Al, looks like they skipped the usual aluminum wrap ties and are using cable to attach fence to top rail. Can’t tell but I’m sure post rail caps are secured with tamper proof fasteners of some sort. But does look like traditional posts and rails. They will kink and bend over with enough force pushed against them assuming they aren’t filled with sand or some other material reinforcing the void inside.

  7. BB, they will want elevated perches lest they risk hitting their cowboys helping to keep the cattle from escaping the corral. Nice at least four or more story building in the one shot full of nice windows. Roof of the purty Capitol buildings a nice spot also.

    11
  8. I’m very interested in what happens in Richmond tomorrow, but it’s at least in part the same sort of morbid curiosity that makes you want to see a train wreck. You don’t want a train wreck to happen, but if one does anyway…

As Han said to Luke (or was it the other way around),
“I’ve got a bad feeling about this.”

Glad to see you posting a couple of times today. Let’s hope that you’re going to post at your usual rate. This site need your knowledge, expertise, and especially your passion.

  10. Rosiland, great find. Thanks for sharing. Loved the part where he said the Nazis were just doing their job when they loaded the jews. (Had your visit yet PHenry)?

  11. “I generally don’t go to places or events that have TSA type screening, survellience and unnecessary rules…”

Me neither. I’d prefer to quietly vote out the MFers who force these cage matches. But if you must go into the pens, you’d better be wearing Depends.

  12. This rally does not need to be on capitol grounds to prove the point there is overwhelming opposition to the violation of the 2nd Amendment in Virginia. The governor and the legislation already know they’re outnumbered and they’re scared – intimidated enough to keep infringing on the rights of Virginians.

Be more stealth, people. Don’t go into the enemy’s territory unarmed, surrendering to their rules, restrictions and policies.
Protest somewhere else. Keep the enemy confused and paranoid by going underground, influencing local politcal culture all over the state which will weakening the governor’s stronghold.
Take Virginia back patriots. Be smart about it. Take up arms as the last resort.

  13. From Brad: ” Input from Lowell and a few others would be awesome…”

Brad, this setup has the hair on the back of my neck crawling. Way too many folks spoiling for a fight. 2A folks, 98% of which are more law abiding than sworn LEO’s aren’t the problem. There may well be some “activists” from the loathsome side of the issue willing to go down for their cause. If that proves to be the case this will be unbelievably ugly.

I worry for my brothers that just want their government to govern, not rule.

ETA: Forgot to say, good to see you here with us again.

  14. Lowell
Exactly. Every Instagram gun slinger I know claims they are going. So are their readers. Todd Jarret and some other IDPA shooters are going. It’s a Freaken circus. And the majority of the Instagram guys are rowing with one oar. Virginian Militias should stay home.

  15. Two things:

    1) WRVA.com will livestream starting early. You can monitor on your own. That’s the newser/talk radio Rush Limbaugh station. Morning guy is decent. After Rush guy is annoying but tolerable.
If you want to follow the play by play.

    2) VCDL rally over at noon, meaning after antifa members wake up time. I hope. VCDL is managing the best they can under the circumstances.

    6
  16. As for Sen. Amanda Chase’s comments about a setup.
She may be right. But I have known her for years and just because she has a title of Senator nowadays, one shouldn’t consider her wise or knowledgeable.

She turned from a person in my grassroots political orbit, someone who pounded the pavement with me for politicians and causes into a “don’t you know who i am?” Senator.

Wonder if they will pay you a visit too. Here is the FB transcript from the man’s wife in the video:

This incident occurred on Saturday, 01.18.2020 at 8:57 in the morning. My husband became a target of the pending Red Flag Law in VA. The reason the police came is due to a visit (husband) made to the Capitol in order to become situationally aware of his surroundings on Lobby Day. His observations and the pictures he took made Capitol police concerned.
(Husband) was not the only person on Capitol grounds that day. He was not the only person taking pictures either. But (his) size and stature coupled with his purposeful actions made him a target for a dry run on Red Flag laws on a citizen of Virginia. Red Flag Laws have not been legalized in VA at this point.
The police told us they had a tip about (husband) but what we soon discovered was the tip to the police came from the Capitol police itself. The Capitol police saw my husband a threat and then tagged him as a danger. Ten days later the Capitol police, escorted with a State trooper came to our home. We had been rousted at our home on a quiet Saturday morning. Our home which is over a hundred miles from the Capitol and located at a 2nd amendment Sanctuary County.
At this point you should know that one of them was a Capitol police officer and the other was a State Trooper, homicide division. The two officers had their hand on their weapons when my husband stepped out the door to greet them. And the rest you can see on this video. Please share this with anyone who has questions about the Red Flag Laws being proposed. Trump was correct when he said, “they are not after me. They are after you”.

I want to shake that guy’s hand and buy him whatever he’s drinking. 🙂

    Richmond
I have a friend who has driven down from Ohio to participate in the rally at Richmond. Though I have my own thoughts and opinions as to what might occur tomorrow, I asked him to send me brief updates, photos, videos, etc. from time to time to let everyone know how things are actually transpiring. This young man is college educated professional, a truthful historian, and patriot. So far he has texted to me:
“This place is a war zone”
“Part of me is alarmed at what I’ve got myself into and another part of me is like “this” matters”.
Ten minutes ago I received, “They are setting us up. ANTIFA is going to provoke and attack the police and make it look like we did it”.
I will post updates as I receive them.

  19. Different Tim. Face covering is illegal in Virginia. If anyone shows up tomorrow obscuring his/her identity attendees should immediately point that out to law enforcement. This isn’t Seattle quite yet.

    2
  20. One other thing about Professional infanticidal Doctor Blackface. He has violated the Americans with Disabilities Act by banning those who require a walking stick from attending. That walking stick is a potential weapon in coonman’s opinion. That’s, at minimum, a first amendment violation. If a handicap cannot attend due to mobility issues that is discrimination.

    7
  21. Thanks for filling in the details, Truckbuddy. I read that the tip itself came from the Capitol Police, but reading it all in context helps.

Seems Gov’nr Shoepolish means to light a match. Would that none on our side would provide the tinder.

Totally flipped when I heard him say the location. My take on this is one of pure intimidation, not so much red-flag. This is the Thought Police. I think they both knew they stepped in doodoo with this guy! The Capitol Cop was dealt with perfectly. He is an example of Shinola Man’s thugs, no doubt. Glad they showed their faces.

I hope that this video will go viral, and be held as an example of who the “good guys” are.

Sorry y’all for the hijack. 🙂

  23. With all the warnings and the proof they’re boxing you in, the folks behind this really need to move the protest.

The above about the husband being greeted at home by capitol police and trooper is pretty chilling.

I’m a very cautious and suspicious person that’s why rarely do I attend protests, especially 2nd amendment protests, all it takes is one crazy or one plant.
Not saying I won’t be willing to fight, but will fight on my terms and my turf.

    6
  24. Having walked the grounds of Northam’s kill zone today, I would not enter through the gates. Period.

Stay on the outside if you wish to attend. That might be more effective anyway.

He wishes to surround us. Instead, we can easily surround him and confuse his antifa hired hands.

I might just show up as an impartial observer and documentarian. I know the lay of the land. Stay away from Bank Street. The satellite news trucks are setting up there and i’m sure lazy media have informed their antifa associates to put on their violence performances there, as a professional courtesy. Street there is barricaded by Northam so only friendly media are allowed in. Don’t be that guy to wander into democrat socialist media (but I repeat myself) with cameras running. Actually I repeat chris plante.
Early doc appointment. After that I will decide. I would happily return to fort henry and my man cave. But this event is drawing me in out of curiosity.

It’s turned into a deal. I have surfed such political events in the past.

I am wallpaper at times. With a camera.

  25. Truckbuddy, when I first saw it this morning, it had >100 views. It’s up to over 100k now. Well and good.

I interpreted it as pure intimidation as well. I remarked that by the time those LEOs arrived, they probably knew enough about the guy down to the balance in his bank accounts. This was not the kind of meet and greet from officer friendly we all knew when we were small. It was more like casing the joint.

The hell of it is, the speaker – George – is sincere in his statement that he’s on their side, as long as their side represents what it’s Constitutionally mandated to. Shoepolish and his minions will not abide that badthink heresy.

PHenry. Good luck and God bless.

    4
  26. Don’t worry Grool. I got the full TSA this morning entering tomorrow’s Blackface authorized government protest zone. Outside of that zone all carry will be in full effect.

This Governor is, once again, going to look like a complete idiot.

Now it’s time to demand that the cost of his Barney Fife fence be paid for by his gubernatorial salary.

    1
  27. Grool,Yep, they have us boxed in. Every Instagram gun slinger that claims they’re going claims they’re going armed. Hopefully they stay away from the event. All we can do is pray now.

    3
  28. I keep seeing a lot of my friends, old and young on FB talking a lot about this, many across the country seem to think this will be the start of the civil war.

It might be, but if so it will be because we see them slaughtered behind that gate. I hope they will listen to all who are telling them don’t go into their trap, move it somewhere else.

    2
  29. Phenry – thank you for your citizen photo journalism. You are a patriot! “I am wall paper, with a camera”…I LOVE THAT!!!!

For those not familiar with the area here is the aerial:

May Godspeed be with all those that plan on going.
You have my unwavering tactical air support from here in Statist New York…recon and observations are best made from a safe distance.

    And, steady as she goes…

BTW, Richmond Capital is one of the oldest (third?), not added onto, mostly subterranean for expansions and the only one designed by a President.

    2
  30. I had sent a picture to IOTW crew of the statue of George Washington on horseback on the grounds of the Capitol, shrouded in chain link.
Not a great photo but the message was quite saddening.

    3
  31. “… we were hungry, just barely alive
I took the train to Richmond that fell
It was a time I remember, oh, so well”

“The night they drove old Dixie down …”

Northam gonna put her in the grave.
