The U.S. military launched several airstrikes against the Taliban this week in support of Afghan government forces, but the insurgents reportedly warned that there will be “consequences.”
“In the last several days we have acted, through airstrikes, to support the [Afghan national defense and security forces],” Pentagon press secretary John Kirby said on Thursday, according to The Associated Press.
Another defense official said that more than four airstrikes were conducted in support of Afghan security forces, the outlet reported.

I read a WSJ article the other day that listed the Taliban as already controlling a large portion of the country, they will have total control very shortly.
I don’t mind bugging out of that shithole country, should have done it years ago but the veins in my head pop when I think of all the boatloads of money we wasted there, on roads, hospitals, factories, infrastructure, and on Michelle’s pet project, making sure the women know how to read and talk back to their husbands.
I hope that they aren’t wearing out my “gently used” F-15 that I just bought on Ebay…
