They aired a nice little docudrama on why Communism sucks on PBS this week. It depicts how a group of Romanian entrepreneurs snuck Western movies into Ceausescu’s repressive nation and allowed the slaves of the state to see how well the rest of the world was living.
Somebody should try that in America …
Let em see what Freedom looks like.
How about the reverse. Sneak a TRUE, UNCENSORED, NOT DeMSM, raw footage movie of how the rest of the world lives, and show how blessed we are with hard work and our freedoms.
I’m thinking the peasant villages of China; the peasant villages of NORKland; eastern Europe; the muggings, rapes and destruction of the German and Swedish culture by the muzzies. Ya’know, the little stuff like that. Stay away from the show piece centers, the country’s capital cities.
PBS of all stations? I thought they were far left?
EXACTLY. I’m SPEECHLESS.

Even PBS has to admit that Communism stinks and failed utterly in Romania.
They lost control of something they thought was trivial, but it contained something that helped fuel a revolution – a taste of freedom.
It’s funny that all layers of the party knew about, and were watching the films, but loved them so much they wouldn’t turn in the perps.
