FBI’s McCabe grilled for 8 hours

When do we get our meat?

FOX- FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe testified behind closed doors for nearly eight hours Tuesday on Capitol Hill, amid calls for his firing over allegations of conflicts of interest and anti-Trump political prejudice at the law enforcement bureau.

McCabe’s testimony before the House Intelligence Committee, which had been rescheduled from last week, was the latest development in a controversy swirling around text messages exchanged between FBI officials Peter Strzok and Lisa Page, who worked on Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s Russia probe.

McCabe was believed to be the “Andy” to whom Strzok and Page referred in their messages.

“I’ll be a little bit surprised if (McCabe is) still an employee of the FBI this time next week,” U.S. Rep. Trey Gowdy, R-S.C., a member of the House panel, told Fox News several days ago.

Gowdy and other committee members were tight-lipped on the details of McCabe’s testimony on Tuesday, and most avoided speaking with reporters. But the committee’s ranking member,U.S. Rep. Adam Schiff, D-Calif., said McCabe “has been a professional FBI agent” and that he does not understand “the calls of some to fire him.”

Strzok was dismissed from Mueller’s Russia probe after being linked to a number of anti-Trump messages, including those calling Trump a “menace” and a “loathsome human.” But one particular text sent by the agent caused great concern and appeared to implicate McCabe.  read more

  1. Closed door testimony. Under-wraps, no transparency.
When will the un-redacted testimony be made available to the public?

The two tiered judicial system works 100% of the time when everything is kept from the public and remains secret.

  2. We should be done with this ‘Swamp’ closure of doors.
This is tantamount to tax payers not being allowed to ‘know the truth’ regarding the monie$ spent to pay off people who were harmed by these swamp monster/sexual predators – male, female, or 3 dollar bills.

  3. I wonder why they went behind closed doors. The committee should be required to explain in some detail why the public is excluded from hearing about what could be a massive conspiracy led by those whose charter it is to protect democracy to subvert an election. This could be worse then voter fraud and the public has a right to know.

  6. You can bet that the deposition was fully catered as well.

On side note the name is pronounced: “str ZOCK” there is an overabundance of individuals in the media who are incapable of reading.

  7. at an absolute minimum, McCabe, Strokeoff, Page and the (w)Ohr’s need to be publicly FIRED from their phoney-baloney Gummint jobs and have any potential pensions & benefits rescinded. HUMILIATE THEM.

    Harrumph!

  8. Rep. Adam Schiff, D-Calif., said McCabe “has been a professional FBI agent”

I knew that was legal in some counties in Navada. But I didn’t know they’d finally quit pretending in Columbia.
