LEAKED: Clinton Campaign Praised George W Bush On Immigration

DC: A member of the Hillary Clinton campaign praised former President George W. Bush on immigration, according to leaked emails from campaign chairman John Podesta’s account.

As the campaign tried to figure out whether to let former President Bill Clinton speak on immigration, his chief of staff Tina Flournoy took a minute to praise Bush.

“43 is soooooo good on it,” Flournoy wrote in a March 2015, email. “Really good. At least he has been when I’ve seen him talk about it with 42.”

The rest of the email chain is devoted to whether to risk Clinton talking about immigration and having a potential interview with Jorge Ramos, a journalist and anchor at Fusion’s America.

“This would be our third interview with Jorge Romas – none of which have been particularly great. And as a general matter, trying to manage the number of joint 43 events – we have lots of requests for same,” Flournoy pointed out.

  1. Old shrub pushed immigration right from the start. Karl Rove predicted that all the new immigrants would be Republicans. Which to him meant they would also be first and foremost Democrats! They tried but lost out until Obutthole came along. Now they totally support Smellery and open borders!

  2. George Bush was a good wartime President, someone needed at a critical time for your country and the world. As a domestic President goes I’d suggest he was tepid at best. He didn’t stand up to Democrats over the Loan Program, ran the deficit massively up with domestic spending, didn’t do nearly enough to seal the southern border and all in all, with the exception of the war on terror, was a Democrats dream of a Republican President. It really is time for the entire Bush family to step away from politics for a few generations.
