Last night police in South Carolina gave chase to a reckless driver and arrested him after he crashed his car into a trees along an old logging road.
The driver has been identified as Jake Lloyd, better known as the young Anakin Skywalker in Star Wars Part I: The Phantom Menace.
The police report he wasn’t drunk or high or hurt in the crash.
NBC News reports the 26-year-old’s real name as Jake Broadbent, which just lends itself to so many more jokes about crashing his “speeder.”

Jake obviously didn’t complete his Ritalin re-education regimen when in his adolescent indoctrination & inculcation institution. Just imagine – a young guy, hot car, me-go-fast-cause it’s fun. Challenging authority? Having dangerous fun? Fuck the cops? Who does he think he is. He will assimilated now we can be sure.
