Mother of “Coolest Monkey in the Jungle” Model Speaks Out

DT-

The mother of the Kenyan boy who modeled an allegedly “racist” H&M hoodie that contained the words “Coolest Monkey In The Jungle” has responded to the outrage that spawned after virtue-signaling leftists across the Internet learned of the hoodie this week, as reported by Fox News:

Terry Mango, who said she was the “mum” of the model in a series of now-deleted Facebook posts, said she doesn’t believe the ad was racially insensitive. …

“Am the mum and this is one of hundreds of outfits my son has modelled,” Mango wrote, according to screenshots of the messages. “Stop crying wolf all the time, unnecessary issue here… get over it.”

“If I bought that jumper and put it on him and posted it on my pages, would that make me racist? I get pples opinion, but they are not mine,” she said.

She added, “Everyone is entitled to their opinion about this…I really don’t understand but not coz am choosing not to but because it’s not my way of thinking, sorry.” …

According to her Facebook page, Mango lives in Stockholm, Sweden, but is originally from Nairobi, Kenya. Her page also includes photos of her son posted in December, and when he was a baby.

  1. Funny how the left immediately equates blacks to monkeys and screams in outrage. I doubt when most people saw the ad they made that connection, they just saw a kid wearing a hoodie.

  2. The most easily offended people I know are a couple women who have biracial kids. One of them has absolutely poisoned her daughter’s outlook. She is a pretty girl, and her mom has her convinced that the reason white boys look at her is because they are racists judging her. Actually, they’re looking at her because she’s beautiful. It’s sad. She used to be bubbly and easy going. Now she’s bitter and paranoid.
