It was my life’s ambition to be an FBI agent. I grew up with the kids of an agent, and came to realize I had an ‘in’ and a gracious offer to help my goals.
This was back when Hoover was still around. Back when their reputation was gold. The agent I knew had Bible study and prayer with his family every day before breakfast, just fine people all around.
Life intervened and I never made it, or even attempted it. I’m now so relieved it turned out that way. I wouldn’t have been able to look myself in the mirror.
Brad, also never forget that agents hiding on the property were discovered by Sammy Weaver’s dog, killed his dog, then shot Sammy Weaver in the back & killed him as well.

Ruby Ridge was a travesty of injustice. The Feds could’ve had Randy Weaver anytime when he came down off the mountain for supplies nearby the tiny town of Naples, Idaho approximately 8-9 miles S. of Bonners Ferry. The whole fiasco stunk to high hell because Randy Weaver was considered to be a threat because of his anti govt., supposed white supremacist world view. This should’ve never happened; it was a media circus in Naples. Id. just off Hwy 95 the whole time this standoff occurred over a period of a week or two in late Summer.
Let us never forget WACO massacre of 1993.
