The Rebel: Once again, what was supposed to be a full trial at London’s Old Bailey courthouse was reduced to a brief announcement from the judge presiding over Tommy Robinson’s retrial for contempt of court.
Last night, Tommy’s lawyers provided the judge with Tommy’s witness statement, one he’d been prepared to read in court today.
In this document, he takes issue with many of the “facts” relevant to his ongoing case.
Apparently this influenced the judge, who this morning declared that he was going to hand the case over to the UK’s Attorney General.
This is, in fact, the very result Tommy’s legal team was hoping for today! more
