I happened upon on Stefan Molyneux interviewing author Diana West for her 2014 book “American Betrayal” and have ended up adding it to my summer reading list. Here’s part of the description from Amazon.com.

I’m a big fan of her and read her regularly. She’s a clear thinker and great writer who does in depth research. I highly recommend she be followed often.
I have that in audio book format, highly recommend.
Also, there is a book about the PR smear campaign against Joe McCarthy (Blacklisted by History) that’s a good read, and while you are in that era, “Whitness” by Whitaker Chambers is highly readable (and listenable) as well.
Secret? Pretty poorly kept secret. Maybe the author can get to a few unaware people that are sitting on the fence – – if there are any.
Me again (Anonymous). I jumped the gun on that comment. My bad. That said, the early 1970s book NONE DARE CALL IT CONSPIRACY covered the same basic concept and was required reading in the church I belonged to. The John Birch Society also was trying to warn people but they were demonized to the point that the masses thought they were “nut cases”. I joined the JBS in the early 1990s. That lasted a few years as I came to realize they were basically a bunch of old men sitting around collecting their government benefits. Most everyone, including those that are PATRIOTICALLY PROUD of the military, have been fooled (thus making them FOOLS). This conspiracy is so adept at manipulating emotions on both the right and left that they have created a serpantine (serpent) effect that continues their agenda regardless of which party wins the presidency – – until Trump (whose father made donations to the JBS). Those of you who think Alex Jones is a nut case are also being fooled. God has the last say in all of what’s going to be coming down soon. Prepare.
She also has a few very interesting and informative lectures on the Muslim situation.
I find that the biggest problem we are facing is that generally people are disengaged and have little interest in hearing about things that should concern them deeply. Bring up a serious subject like this in conversation and you’re often treated like a Jehovah’s Witness attempting to corner you.
