Dan Bongino:
President Trump and the White House have been saying ever since Pelosi first announced the impeachment probe that too many House Democrats who hail from pro-Trump districts could not risk their own reelections to support impeachment. Representative Jeff Van Drew (D-NJ) may be the first to stray from his impeachment loving colleagues.
According to Newsweek, Van Drew has “maintained his long-held stance against the notion Trump has committed potential impeachable offenses…Van Drew, who flipped a Trump district, said an inquiry was too divisive and could potentially backfire on Democrats ahead of the 2020 election, adding that he would not vote for the impeachment resolution.” read more
Could, should, would & will!
Backfire like a gunshot!
I’ll tell you after the vote tomorrow.
Or lack thereof.
Really, Folks? Is there anyone at this late date who would trust Anything a vulnerable (d) would say to protect his electoral skin? Pardon my well earned cynicism but does anyone really doubt that he’d switch back to backstab mode as soon as it is safe to do so?
I will be surprised if they hold a vote.
Even local media rarely shows what has been happening when these assholes come home. They try to keep their constituents out of their town halls that aren’t died in blue demoncraps, but the people not allowed in number in the thousands and they stand outside with bullhorns and signs.
Polling that they don’t like to show, is showing demoncraps in conservative districts and states are getting their ass handed to them over impeachment.
I got one of those new Dem district-flippers, too. She’s voting the party line and thinks nobody is noticing because she avoids the bright lights. She is currently finding out that is not the case.
On a related note, I’m trying to find out if the party of the President usually gains or loses seats in an incumbent President election year, but all Google gives me is stuff about midterm elections which we all heard ad nauseam in Blue Wave 2018. Although if I had to guess, I’d say the party of the President gains seats, since we’d already be hearing from the media if it were the opposite.

…not sure “Backfire” is the right word for it when the gun they tried to use looks like THIS…

Granny Waters still wan6ta her some peachment pie with ice cream.
good gravy, as if any gun grabbing democrat-socialist incumbents could win (dat right there are two repub campaign points).
@ SNS: That’s the AOC-O’Urk-Swallowwell model. I think you should give them some credit.
Sure you can trust democrats to do the morally correct thing, if your a fool.
A rare man of reason on the center-left.
A believe that all old school Democrats and non progressives ought go abandon their party and reform as another one.
The communists and anarchists have throughly implanted themselves into the democratic party so much so that it isn’t recognizable anymore.
The interwebs are saying they the whistleblower has been outed. I’m not going to say his name because I don’t know how BFH feels about. Apparently it’s been around the interwebs for a few weeks, but now GP has a post up about it.
If it is who they say it is, I honestly don’t understand how the hell he was allowed around that long.
It’s past time to just fire all of them and start over.
Update: no vote tomorrow. What a surprise.

Yep didn’t figure they would.
Left Coast Dan: Dems still trying to have it both ways. Republicans should refuse to participate in the process until a vote is taken.
Put pressure on them – call them and tell them you will campaign against them if they vote for impeachment.
Maybe one reason crime is low now when everything is illegal is because no one calls the police anymore.
If feeding the homeless is illegal and you feed the homeless, are you going to call the cops?
