WS: Austrian defense minister, Klaudia Tanner, has warned that Europeans could face blackouts that go on for days, leaving one–third of citizens unable to “supply themselves” with electricity. “The question is not whether it (the blackout) will come, but when it will come,” said Tanner, unsurprisingly blaming the war in Ukraine.
The ruling class member made the comments during an interview with the German news outlet Die Welt, according to a report by Summit News. “For Putin, hacking attacks on Western power supplies are a tool of hybrid warfare. We must not pretend that this is just a theory. We must be prepared for blackouts in Austria and Europe,” she added.
While Vladimir Putin remains the convenient scapegoat, others have pointed to Europe’s over-dependence on “green energy” and its shutting down of traditional coal-fired and nuclear plants as one of the primary reasons for increasing the risk of blackouts, according to Summit News. MORE
You turned off the generation plants in the name of Gia and to appease the greenies. Just as the WEF and Claus want, but try to blame it on another country. The people should, and may, put all of you out to pasture and reopen the power plants. Your plan is in the open and when people start to starve I hope they know who they need to come after. Indeed, days or weeks long blackouts will not affect a single one of the elites. They will be warm in winter, cool in the summer because they want the total population on the planet to be 500,000,000 of THEM, not YOU.
