Martha Raddatz on ABC This Week thought she’d destroy Carly Fiorina’s credibility by calling into question how the presidential hopeful was using economic statistics in the most recent debate.
Accusing Fiorina of “cherry picking” the facts, Raddatz found herself drowning in her own narrative as the former head of Hewlett Packard unloaded a tidal wave, detailing how Obama’s policies have been hurting women.
How did they miss this Martha Rat’s Ass person when they were putting together the moderator panel for the last Republican debate?
I don’t own a TV, so I don’t get to see these idiots in action. But the comment I posted recently about the moderators just sticking to questions applies here too. JUST ASK THE FUCKING QUESTION AND LET THE INTERVIEWEE ANSWER. Don’t try to prove how brilliant you are, as that would be the fastest way to shoot yourself in the foot.

Raddatz was a moderator for the V.P. debates in 2012. You know the one, where Slow Joe laughed and smirked and generally made everyone uncomfortable so that no actually paid attention to Ryan’s reasoned and insightful responses.
It was one of the most bizarre performances given in a debate and no moderator called him on it for being rude and condescending to his opponent rather than actually debating him on the substance.
CNN here declared Martha the winner – which is a terrible example for all future moderators and contributes to the idiocy on display by them today.

I guy I know, who is “in the know,” once told me that many of these women have to lay miles of pipe before they can get on the air. I wonder if that’s true?

I do not know what motivates someone to stay in the ultimate race when their polling numbers are in the single digits and have been from the starting line. I suppose there are a number of gigs on the tee vee for also rans. I do not see a break-out for Fiorina, but I do see a mish mash come caucus/primary time.
For the record, I don’t support a woman for president, period.
