Probably got the answers from their research on the Southern Poverty Law Center’s web page.
I keep some of those torx rounds in the truck just in case somebody comes my way with a screw loose.
With the right shotgun powder, that would be a great way to tell the gun grabbers “Screw You!”
Here’s a picture of one of the evil assault weapons that uses these bullets: Damn it …….. it even has a high capacity magazine. Things things have to be banned!
The guy was being sarcastic, so no, a stupid lib didn’t post this originally. The ear plug guy was his inspiration. Now THAT one was stupid.
Exactly, the ones in this story are old bullets from the old westerns. Remember Alan Ladd in Shane? “Don’t move or I’ll Drill yah.”
That’s the thing about humor ……. it isn’t funny if it doesn’t have an element of truth. The ear plug idiot at Ferguson probably has a degree in “whatever studies” or “journalism” ……… which is redundant now that II think about it.
wada mean? they r the perfect size for a “pepper box” that I have
–
didn’t u know ?- they r called “screw ’em” ammo
–
(back to my “beverage” now)
Especially for self defense if your screwed.
I’m thinking that calling them “xtreme defender” is a little better marketing ploy than just calling them what they are which is “Phillips-head”.
The .357mag xtreme defenders are also hollow point and phillips head. I’d try just the projectiles if they have cannelures, but I think you have to buy them with the screwdriver shaft already attached.
Licensed to drive in all fifty (fifty-seven?) states and can buy power tools with no questions asked…
Those must be the “security” Phillips head LOL (I have some screwdriver bits that have a hole like that where some companies made it harder for people to take their stuff apart by putting a little nub on the screw head that requires a special tool to remove screws).
Lehigh Defense makes the actual bullets. Here’s a link:
They seem to be pretty pricey for just bullets to me though. But they are machined copper which I’m sure is more expensive than casting.
Thanks for the link. Those look nice but too expensive. Last box of Hornady XTP’s I bought cost me about $15 for 100. And they’ll do the job just fine.
I have a set of those “hollow point” torx heads too. They come in handy once in a while.
Oh, crap. I have been using those with my sling shot. Now I’m busted. I mean screwed.
They would make great ammo for my blunderbuss!
This is one screwball thread! 🙂
I am torqued some screwball cannot even tell the difference between flat blade, phillips point, square point, and torx point bullets. Whats next, calling mags a clip?
Love that they contain no lead. Wouldn’t want to cause the attacker to get lead poisoning on his way down to the floor.
obviously has never built or worked on anything in their entire life … pathetic
Yep. I linked to this article a few days ago. It’s hilarious,.
My favorite part “I did some research” uh huh. Sure you did.
Must be one of those guys from Colorado that get together weekly to man up, and learn how to change a car tire, or start a lawn mower.
Good Lord! What looney bin did this person escape from? I’m a 72 year old woman. Never had a gun, always afraid I’d shoot myself or my kids or dog. But, I have a lot of those ‘bullets’ in my home and car! What an idiot, and he/she proudly shared that with EVERYONE. So, is this person invited to the White House?
That’s why we call them LOW INFORMATION VOTERS
Heh! Those are mine! My screwdriver fell out of my car and those fell out with my screwdriver. Best multiuse screwdriver I ever had! Bought it at Ace hardware in the $1 bin.
Those kind of bullets are the kind that go into my cannon with the silverware from the thrift store, and any broken ceramic tiles and dog turds I might find.
You can only use the Metric ones against Europeans and Asians!
Good lord, this person is allowed to vote.

No. Its not possible to be that stupid, is it?
Didja ever talk to a prog or one of today’s kids with a degree in “whatever studies”?
I think this ammo manufacturer must have seen this on social media judging by their “new” bullet design:
https://www.underwoodammo.com/40-s-w-115-grain-xtreme-defender/
The videos are pretty impressive if they are to be believed.
Those are NOT assault weapon bullets. Assault weapon bullets have 6 sides and a thread in the center but I see them at gas stations all the time too.
Those are the large caliber ones though – the ones above are small bore.
Yea but those little ones are missing the threads and that’s what makes them spin when you shoot them.
Aaaahhhhhhh…………. so that’s why some barrels are threaded?
I remember seeing this the day it came out. Saw it when I was checking out Law Of Self Defense and he had retweeted it.
