Louisiana is still like that. Wasn’t long ago I drove up and got a Margarita with salt under the snap-on lid to-go.
Was delicious.
Louisiana –
Open carry without a permit.
Drive through liquor stores serving Margaritas like they were banana splits.
They’re more Texan than Texas.
Taco Bell
350 items for sale.
8 ingredients.
Sometimes I think one of the main ingredients at Taco Hell is mystery meat. But I still go there occasionally but not as much as I used to. I’m trying to cut down on eating so much cheap fast food and have quit going to Jack In The Box entirely. And now they’re building a Carl’s Jr. right across the street from the jitb, great that’s all I need another fast food place two blocks away from my house. Anyone remember when going out for fast food was a treat and not nearly an everyday occurrence because it’s cheap.
@Jethro – When I saw my first Brew-Through in North Carolina many years ago, I said to myself, “Cool! A beer store for people too drunk to walk!”
Do4 you most certainly CANNOT purchase drinks in Louisiana at a drive in. Only package liquor. Your Margarita’s straw was still wrapped in paper when they sold you your product.
I guess I’m lucky we have Taco Hells here.
I’m addicted to their hard shell tacos and beef meximelts.
Bahahahahahahahahahahahaha
Have seen him live a few times. Always a great show. He is an awesome comedian!!!!
Just. The. Best. Comedian. Hands. Down.
He’s very funny! That’s about what I would do with the tacos.
I remember when the only drive thru in town was the liquor store. Honest!
They would even mix a drink for you.

Chris Porter, another great comedian, has a great routine about Taco Bell …
