  1. Let’s see here… defrauds the Medicare system out of $73 million.
Has to make restitution of $42.6 million. Hmmmmm (scratches head)
I’m guessing the remaining 29.4 million gets split between the lawyers and the Menendez insurance policy known as the democRAT party…

  2. Yeah. Why not get all $73 Million back?
Even if he spent it, it had to be on something tangible – unless it all went to cocaine and whores.
So if he gets a commuted sentence, or wins on appeal, or a pardon he gets to keep it?

    izlamo delenda est …

  3. I can see the federal marshals delivering this guy to federal prison
“Does this make your freedom look closer or farther away?”
“How many cigarettes am I holding up for trade?”
“Tell me when you see the shank in your periphery vision.”

  4. now watch Melgan attempt to weasel out of his conviction on appeal. Unfortunately, a lot of people believe that where there is that kind of money there is a jury and or judge that can be bought. I sincerely hope this is not true.
Personally, I would first gain full restitution of all dubious federal funding then I lock the SOB up in the nastiest hole I could find. I let him marinate awhile until he could be persuaded to turn states evidence on Menendez. No sense letting either of these thief’s loose.
New jersey, how about a recall petition?
