Army Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl is expected to plead guilty of desertion according to reports.
NTK: Army Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl “is expected to plead guilty to desertion and misbehavior before the enemy, ” according to an Associated Press report. Immediately after Bergdahl was freed, Sen. Claire McCaskill (D-MO) praised President Obama for his decision to exchange five Taliban commanders for Bergdahl.
Bergdahl who was held captive by the Taliban for five years after he deserted his post in Afghanistan was turned over to the U.S. after President Obama released “five Taliban commanders from the Guantanamo prison in exchange for” Bergdahl.
Over the years, several American soldiers died during multiple attempts to find and free Bergdahl. After he was released, soldiers who served with Bergdahl expressed their disappointment with the prisoner swap.
“I was pissed off then, and I am even more so now with everything going on,” former Sgt. Matt Vierkant, a member of Bergdahl’s platoon told CNN in 2014 about the deal. “Bowe Bergdahl deserted during a time of war, and his fellow Americans lost their lives searching for him.”
However, President Obama’s deal was immediately met with praise from McCaskill.
According to Politics1, there are only 14 republicans campaigning against her for next year’s election. Not sure who, if anyone, is viable but the bergdahl issue should be as damaging to the old bat as Ben Ghazi was for Hillary.

To be fair, the Senator was blissfully ignorant about Sgt. Bergdahl. She likes to maintain that state of blissful ignorance about everything else she does. That way she maintains a consistent front on all the issues.
Bergdahl served with “Honor And Distinction”? That is what Susan Rice stated.
She also spun the false narrative of Benghazi.
Not one person in the Obama Whitehouse considered Bergdahl’s actions, desertion, treason, deaths and serious life altering injuries suffered by those in the Army attempting to rescue him.
The defense proposes Bergdahl receive a lesser sentence that reflects the time the Taliban held him under brutal conditions. His actions have consequences, he owns that. The time he spends in a Military Prison should severely outweigh any conditions he may have dealt with by the islamic terrorists he so willingly sought.
Personally, he should face a firing squad, as all traitors/deserters in the time of war deserve.
The “Show Me State” isn’t showing the nation anything desirable when they elected this dimwit.
Whichever GOP candidate wins the nomination they should be able to destroy this old bag with just a few well directed ads using her own words and the effect of Obama’s releasing 5 Taliban warlords. Get friends of the troopers that were killed trying to find this mutt as well and make sure McCaskill is front and centre in each and every one.
Since she obviously lacks any discernment or character, it is not surprising that she heaped praise on this traitorous deserter. God will judge her harshly.

Bergdahl is another one who needs to make sure he’s home by nightfall, and to never, ever be alone in dark alleys. There are many, many troops who would love to put a boot up his ass.
