  1. I rarely ever make New Years resolutions because most of the time I never fulfill any of them and end up getting frustrated, The only resolution I might make is always to be a better person and pray and hope that I will be another year older and wiser. And not to sweat the small stuff and make a mountain out of a mole hill. Happy New Year everyone, may 2021 be a darned sight better than last year which sucked. But we’ll see!

  2. Happy New Year to ALL y’all!

As to resolutions, I agree with Tim and Jimbo. Ain’t no point in setting myself up for disappointment. Enough of that comes along naturally.

  5. After my 60th New Years on this planet, I’m not going to kid myself. I will however, continue to resist all forms of tyranny, newspeak, or cultural assimilation.

  6. Happy new year everyone! I plan to continue increasing my readiness for whatever comes down the line and ensure I don’t become part of the problem. To borrow from the Coasties- Semper Paratus.

  7. MJA, we miss you terribly on Facebook. You and our favorite Louisiana lady. Y’all come back. I can’t seem to get on the other platforms out there. Happy New Year to all the iotwers out there.

  8. I don’t think I ever made a NY resolution, but I made one around March 1973 to give up smoking. I have never gone back. Most of the time when I did smoke, I actually liked it. Then, on a spur of the moment, I tossed away the cig I was smoking that long ago March and that was it.
