  1. Pop music is total shit now. Rap isn’t music. It’s a psychopathic stream of consciousness with the dominating topics being homicide, misogyny, and dick size, which are, apparently, the artistic staples of the negro, beaner, and meth head white trash communities now.

  2. If you haven’t heard the Justin Bieber song you must be living on Mars. That said most of the songs have words that can hardly be called lyrics if you can make them out at all.
Bruno Mars has catchy songs and a lot of talent.

  3. The last music I actually paid to buy had the voice of George Jones or maybe Merle Haggard in it. And it was actual music. These days I’m more into listening to the Statesmen or The Stamps quartets, or the original Chuck Wagon Gang among several other 50’s / 60’s Southern Gospel groups with awesome harmonies.

  4. Even though my HD antenna would allow to watch their self-aggrandizement award show for free I find myself seeking other, more productive things to do with my time like counting the fibers in my carpet, or keeping track of how many times my two dogs fart and then trying to figure out if the sound of them being let go relate to the food or the other dog following the first one into a fart-competition.

  5. I must live on mars because I have never heard Justin Bieber’s song, actually I’ve never listened to any of his songs. If I listen to the radio it’s turned to the classic music stations.

  6. I pay no attention to this crap thats produced nowdays. I heard a couple of the names before but thats because its almost unavoidable if you scan the news daily.
Anyway I ignore them because I still prefer to listen to music instead.

  7. One song had over 400 million views, the other over 600 million. Holy shit.

You know there’s way more talented people on YT starving for 100 views.

Anyways, my wife and kids and distant family listen to 21 Pilots constantly. They even sing along with it word for word. It’s horrid. At Christmas I got up, threw my cards on the table, said something like, “I’m tired of listening to this absolute shit” and went to bed.

  8. CBS ran a show of Mars singing his album. It is all vulgar, explicit songs about the ways he wants to perform sex on women.
How “woke” and sympathetic to abuse victims to give it album of the year.
Our local talk radio morning show guys said it was anyone but white night

  9. The big money marketing mavens shove this trash down the throats of the young who don’t know better. They have them convinced this trash is edgy and hip, if you want to be dialed in then this is what you need to spend your money on.

  10. I heard a music story about a band that outperformed Bruno Mars, Taylor Swift, Katie Perry, and all this untalented wrecks COMBINED: Depeche Mode. (I think there may have been a couple more that they beat as well)

That’s right—— an 80s band went on tour last year and out billed money wise all those talentless hacks.
The blog author said that millennials/ teens whatever flocked to see them. Why?
One reason is because their music today is so terrible.

  11. Leon is the only Redbone I’ve heard about.
None of this modern crap is worth listening to.
Ranger Doug’s Cowboy Corral on Sirius, that’s where the good old stuff can be found

  12. What gets me is the overwhelming appreciation of Patti Lupone’s performance. I just watched it – it is nice but not particularly groundbreaking. It must simply be that everything else truly sucks when compared to a decent Broadway singer with an orchestra.

  13. Missed the Grammys on purpose. Sick of the leftist political assault by doped up amoral “music” stars. What’s defined as popular music and wins Grammys is either guttural garbage or idiot bot, earworm sludge.

  14. I like music, all music, from what was called long hair, to swing, to big band, to march, to country, to gospel, to Motown, to beach , to surfer, to punk, to rock, to psychedelic rock, to metal, to heavy metal, to brass, to opera, I have performed a number of these types, rap is not music, it’s more akin to Haka war chants.
    I don’t have a closed mind, I have a discretional mind.

  15. I tuned in twice with the sound muted. I saw men and woman writhing and humping on stage with most woman in various stages of undress. I saw thugs with microphones in their hands. The second time I saw people giving ignorant mini-speeches about topics they know nothing about. Young people who know literally nothing about this nation or its history along with adults who just never got the hang of growing the f**k up. Though I didn’t hear them, I saw Sting and U2 participating in the Hate Trump Fest. Because, as we all know, non-citzens should always be listened to when bloviating about our country. Sigh.
