A Florida city was selling commemorative bricks, ones where you pay to have a message installed on a sidewalk, and an immigrant’s pro-Trump message was removed without notice.
It read, “Trump 2020. Drain Swamp.”
There are no guidelines on the city’s website. You pay $90 and your message gets installed. That’s what happened, until the city received “complaints.”
Buy 9 bricks:
1) T
2) R
3) U
4) M
5) P
6) 2
7) 0
8) 2
9) 0
it offends those people when a political message is on the sidewalk, but us normal people are supposed to keep our mouths shut when the queers have a parade and they walk down the middle of the street decorated with plastic dicks all over themselves.
The brick was removed by order of the swamp.
just a few million dollar judgements for discrimination against these a-holes may make them think twice. The problem is too many have not only gotten away with discriminating against Trump supporters, but actually encouraged.
(Major dittos Whitey White!)
Also, this sort of thing is because we elect nitwits and nincompoops to local government. Oooh brick idea, make money. “Joe and Sally Happy Anniversary”… They don’t think it through.
Maybe the government should not be purporting to sell FREE SPEECH via selling existing pieces of PUBLIC-owned PROPERTY in the first place? This isn’t like renting a sign on a bus bench. This isn’t akin to donating money for a project. It may seem similar at first, but it’s not.
That’s my county (Volusia). About 50.1% GOP, 49.9% Dem. But city governments are almost always run by left-wing administrators, who make decisions like that and in my case.
“SOMEONE WAS OFFENDED”
Yeah, the person who reported the claim was offended. . .
