Times of Israel

Israeli warplanes bombed a Hamas weapons factory in the Gaza Strip early Friday in response to a wave of arson balloon attacks launched at Israel from the coastal enclave the day before, the Israel Defense Forces said.

The army said the site was used by the terror organization to develop and build weapons.

“The strike was carried out in response to the arson balloon attacks on Israeli territory. The IDF will respond with determination against all terror attempts from the Gaza Strip,” the army said. More

  1. Japan did the same thing to the U.S. in WW2. Several fires in the WA and OR forests were thought to be caused by them, parts of them were also found. IIRC the only fatalities were a woman and her two kids who were on a picnic.

  2. kcir – You should see the tennis ball cannon in action!
4′ Iron pipe (plumbed vertical), 3/16″ hole for oxy-acetylene injection and a spark plug at the base…
Grease up a tennis ball and ram-rod it down 3 1/2 feet, inject a little oxy-acetylene, stand back about 5 feet and click the igniter!
The tennis ball returns to Earth about 15 seconds later as a smoking mess! Good fun… till it lands in somebody’s open sun roof!!
