  1. Looks like the jurors don’t understand common sense. If someone fires a warning shot what would you do?? I had a home invader once and I threw him out, I later was charged with assault. Here’s a hint I live in NY. I told everyone next time they would never find the body. No other home invaders found yet.

  2. Now either the state will try to go after him again or the feds will, because democrats will not tolerate a white person defending their property against the brown hordes pouring over the border.

  3. “…the jury sent a note to Santa Cruz Superior Court Judge Thomas Fink saying jurors could not reach a unanimous verdict.”
Doesn’t that mean he is found not guilty?

  4. They didn’t find the bullet the killed the invader. They have no proof Kelly killed the dude. All they can prove is that he went outside and fired shots. If we believe in ‘innocent until proven guilty’ he should get acquitted.

  5. Can anyone answer Jethro’s question above?

I suspect a hung jury results in a mistrial so the state will have a second go at him.

I have to agree that the case is purely circumstantial.

U.S. tort law wont protect him from civil judgent auch as O.J. experienced.

  6. A ‘hung jury’ is a win for the state…because they have unlimited resources to keep trying their victim over and over. Even if Mr. Kelly eventually wins he will still have lost…because THE PROCESS IS THE PUNISHMENT.
