According to a report from NBC News on Tuesday, the Harris-Walz campaign “is still negotiating with ABC News about rules for the Sept. 10 debate with Trump,” even though Donald Trump has already agreed to the rules. “One of the key issues,” the report notes, “is whether the candidates’ microphones should be muted when it isn’t their turn to speak.”
It’s obvious to anyone that the Harris campaign is looking for a way out of debating Trump next week. To still be negotiating rules that have already been agreed to less than a week before the debate is scheduled is sad and telling.
It’s because Kamala’s debate prep isn’t going well. Here is how I see the debate. Kamala in front of millions of viewers giving them all a blow job and, in the end, choking on it.
…many times I have seen people under severe stress revert to type, in that when faced with something they cannot cope with because it is far outside of their experience they try to do something inside their experience, whether it makes sense in context or not. This is a person being extracated from their mangled car trying to grab the work papers that were on the seat next to them, the child who accidentally burned his house down tearfully promising to clean his room, the woman who scolds her husband while he’s having a stroke for making her look bad, are trying to minimize an impossible situation into something they can deal with within the bounds of their experience and abilities.
So when Kamala becomes overwhelmed, outclassed, embarrased, exposed as the empty, vacuous pantsuit that she is, what coping strategy based on her life experience will SHE revert to?
