  1. The crow didn’t like the eagle infringing on his territory, liberals have a tendency to do that, but in this case, I see the crow being the liberal not the eagle. The crow just wants a free ride.

  2. Every Red Tailed Hawk I’ve seen this Spring was being chased by a much smaller bird.

Not like they were in a hurry to get away, though. Easily 4 times bigger, if not more.

The last one was beautiful to watch. Graceful flight. The chase was in a large field with trees and open spaces throughout. The chased hawk stayed low and within sight for a 1/4 mile, at least. The guy giving me the walk-through of the property even had to stop talking and watch.

Then we talked bobcats, copperheads, and other such things making homes near the house on the property.

Amazing part – this was in the middle of North Dallas.

  3. I’ve seen crows and eagles together feasting on the carcasses of dead animals like deer, elk and moose. They’re equal opportunity carnivores. The first time I saw crows and eagles together tearing a carcass apart I did a double take but now that I’ve seen it more than once it’s a wonderful thing to see.
