Liberal Reporter: I think I need to sit down. This rocks my world view.
I can assure you the people of Knoxville are 99% behind the good Samaritan. Like the “stunned” local media, the other 1% “ain’t from around these parts.”
More like: “We need to change that and make it illegal!”
I heard our local sheriff explain it: a person with CCW can – and is morally obligated to – use their weapon to save a life if they are able to safely do so.
But that’s it – save a life. A CCW doesn’t make you a cop.
Now, they still hauled the person in and examined the gun, right? Just like Zimmerman. It’s legal to use deadly force but you get cuffed until they determine what actually happened.
