Man on “Grand Theft Auto” Like Spree in D.C. Finally Gunned Down by Police

Police fatally shot a man early Tuesday who they believe committed or tried to commit at least four carjackings in D.C. and suburban Maryland and also opened fire on two occupied police vehicles in separate locations in a span of less than 10 hours, leaving one motorist dead of a gunshot wound and another critically injured, according to law enforcement officials. The first victim has been identified as Mike Gill, who worked for the Trump Administration as Commodity Futures Trading Commission. He was shot in the head and is in critical condition. Here

  2. How long before we find out that he was 1) known to police and 2) had a long string of previous violent offenses.

    People who are a threat to their communities need to be removed from society, not be released to commit additional crimes.

  3. The punks that attacked and tried to kill two cops in New York yesterday and all over the news all night and morning long . . . were arrested and released back on the street within hours.

    Is New York doomed? It appears to be self-inflicted. Don’t blame Texas.

  4. Also, in GTA, you keep shooting until the FBI gets involved, but if you lay low long enough they will eventually lose interest and that particular crime no matter how heinous will never be brought up again.

    Kind of like real life.

  5. Caught the original “Gone In 60 Seconds” movie on late night TV. It was cool to see all those locations in the Long Beach/Wilmington area that probably no longer exist.
    An insurance investigator that runs a chop shop-pretty up to date for a 50 YO flick.
