Obama Blvd. – IOTW Report

Obama Blvd.

The L.A. City Council President Herb Wesson has proposed renaming a two-mile section of Rodeo Road, Obama Boulevard.
No word from homeowners along the proposed route on the devaluation of their properties if the name change takes place.

  1. Hell, if Wesson was serious they’d rename Rodeo Drive to Obama Drive. I’d bet all the Hollywood beautiful people would support that. Not. They’d squeal like little piggies but they’d probably feel just a tiny bit bad about it.

  2. To rename a road has incredible cost to the people who live on that street. Mortgages, property descriptions, checking accounts, EVERYTHING that has your address is affected and has to be changed, costing huge amounts of time and money. And if you have a business on the street the negative effects are even worse.

  3. Why don’t they rename all the MLK blvds after 0bama? There’s never anything good going on in those streets. If any liberal truly respected MLK, they wouldn’t plaster his name all over the ghettos like that.

  4. MJA, you beat me to it.
Rename every MLK Blvd for Obama. Make it mandatory by EO.

When Obama’s name is indelibly linked to ghettos everywhere, those roads can be returned to their original Confederate heroes whose names were erased in Phase 1 of the Marxist Culture War.

  5. MLK Boulevard Street Drive and/or Road……

You know you’ve f’ed up when you get on one of those…….

We might as well start sharing the glory with some BH0 thoroughfares.

  6. on 0webama boulevard they take it hard
They look at life with such disregard
They say it can’t be won
The way the game is run
But if you choose to stay
    You’ll prolly end up gay
    It’s otay
The kid’s are shot up and down the block
michelle’s at home trying to conceal her cock
    Down at the golden Corral
    They’re knockin old ones out
    Under the neon light
    Selling crack all night
    It’s alright
    everybody rides for free
everybody gets it like they want it to be
    dhimmicrats hands you a guarantee
    it’s all free !!!!!!
The hearts are hard and the times are tough
Down on the boulevard the night’s enough
    And time passes slow
Between the store front shadows and the street lights glow
Everybody walks right by like they’re safe or something
    They don’t know
    Nobody knows you
    Nobody owes you nothin’
Nobody shows you what they’re thinking
    Nobody baby
    Hey, hey, baby
You got to watch the street, keep your feet
    And be on guard
    Make it pay baby
It’s only time on 0webama boulevard

  7. LOL@LCD, yep, I called it Rodeo, was corrected, “It’s Rodao.”
I guess millionaires won’t shop at the rodeo.
I called it Rodeo every time I got the chance, just like when I was told to not call it Frisco, bam, never tell me no. La Hoya is forever La Jolla now.
Looking ignorant is a small price to pay for a Prog’s wince and eye roll.

  8. This one may very well be pronounced Rodeo.

This is not Rodeo Dr in Beverly Hills.

This is Rodeo Rd in Los Angeles.

Near Crenshaw. Intersects with an MLK Blvd. lol

  9. More appropriate would be to name Jerry Brown’s train to nowhere, ‘The obama Express’. Lots in common, go nowhere and excessive misuse of taxpayer funds. Duds.
