Oregon Catalyst: Governor Kate Brown issued a new deadline for the mask mandate to be repealed, formerly April 1st, now March 19th, the day before Spring Break starts for Oregon schools. A Spring Break that surely would have featured open-defiance of the mask rule, just as much of rural Oregon has abandoned the rule already. Gov. The declining population of democrat (little d) politicians are running scared of being associated with their former fascistic totalitarian dictates now that the mid terms are looming.
Tough shit – vote them all out – right down to the local democrat dog catcher.
Do recall, this (insert slur here) was recently on record as intent on making masking mandates permanent.
CDC is supposed to announce something today, likely removing mandates.
Air travel mask mandate expires March 18, so they would need to renew it if they want it to continue.
And what is the magical reasoning behind March 19? Why not March 16 or March 5? Isn’t she going against the CDC scoience and that fascist loser, fauchi?
Mask rule? I don’t follow those kind of rules. I avoid those who wear a mask, I know where their hands have been. I’ll take care of myself, no one has done that for me since I was 17 yo and it isn’t going to start now 50 years later.
Should have stuck with April Fool’s Day, just to highlight the hypocrisy.

i am so tired of politicians issuing policies to keep us ‘safe’. What i need to be kept safe from are criminals with guns, knives, baseball bats, etc. You know…..REAL weapons. Since you can still get the virus even if shot up, and masks have been proven to be ineffective, how can they claim to be keeping you ‘safe’ from anything?
Good lord, i despise them so.

Dims know that their voters will have totally forgotten the last 2 years by midterms. Evil + stupidity.
The democrats impose their draconian rules on us, and then expect us to praise them when they grant us back a little piece of our freedom.
They can remove their mask mandates and a significant part of the population will still wear masks from what I’ve experienced in TX. And they are still counting on companies to punish their unvaxxed employees by forcing them to wear a mask. It was nice last weekend to finally see some employee faces at the bank, Walmart, HEB, Sam’s etc. About half the employees still have masks which leads me to believe the so called Covid vax uptake numbers were wildly off and/or a lot of employees are not ready to give up the masks. Probably a combo of both.
