  1. It’s not only selfies. It appears to me that ALL social interactions among “modern” (i.e. “prog”) women are meant to intimidate or at least condescend to each other.

  2. I agree with aircubed but I would never see them as Iotw report is as close as I come to social media. Social media and smart phones have helped destroy many of two generations of peoples ability to productively interact with others.

  3. Speaking for one man – myself – they lower their value each time they do it.

Eye rolls don’t even come close to expressing my disdain for this.

Duck lips are worth extra negative points.

Mutual of Omaha’s Wild Kingdom was a comfy reality of that time. Nice reference.

Always felt sorry for his sidekick that was put in danger for camera footage. Kinda funny though. Was a running joke among my friends.

  5. Luckily, some of these people take themselves out of the gene pool trying to outdo others taking the “most awesome intimidating selfie ever” by taking them at the edges of cliffs, atop trains, etc. 👍🏻

  6. I never understood the selfie-lip-puckering, doodied up, photos. I always thought that the person was self-absorbed and an easy prey. Also, a lack of self-respect. Not much intimidates me, I see it as entertainment.

  7. One more thing. I see people just sitting around, walking around, driving around looking at their phone. I really want to know what they’re looking at. They don’t look up long enough to see that they’re about to get hit by a car.
