CFP: Catapulting into ‘The News of the Day’, comes news that has never changed in almost 2000 years:Christ’s Tomb in Jerusalem.

Christ’s Tomb was reopened for the viewing of one billion people worldwide,  made possible by “scientific monitoring tools”.

The timing of this epic event couldn’t have possibly been more providential ,happening at a time in a world that seems all at sea in the spiritual realm.

In a world where God is being driven from the Public Square, the most sacred of shrines has been resurrected in Jerusalem, a 4,800-year-old city the United Nations is trying to reclaim for Palestine,

Though billions of people of faith are finding it increasingly difficult to find their Creator anywhere in the Public Square of their day, Christians will be able to see with their own eyes, inside the tomb both history and tradition identify as the one where Christ’s crucified body was laid.  MORE

  1. “…the United Nations is trying to reclaim for Palestine”.

Israel has belonged to God and the Jewish people since the beginning.
This “Palestine” they always throw around is a moslem tactic.

Faith comes from hearing the Word of God. Not from seeing the “traditional” location of a tomb like the one Christ was buried in. There are many different opinions on the actual location.

  2. “… we will finally be able to see the original rock surface on which, according to tradition, the body of Christ was laid.”

That would be something to experience. Any time I am near a piece of history that someone from a long ago past has held or used, I am moved. And that’s just objects like pottery or an old, well used weapon.

I can’t think of a greater thing to visit and be with.

  3. John 20:29King James Version (KJV)

29 Jesus saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed.

  4. Dadof4 — Yes, I’m also moved by historic artifacts and always think about how strange a thing ‘time’ is. I would love nothing more than to make a pilgrimage to Jerusalem and the Holy Land. Maybe in ’18.

  5. Jerry Manderin, you just reminded me that I have a small piece of stone from the quarry they used to build the Temple in Jerusalem. Got it from Zola Levitt ministries when I ordered my Israeli flag.
