Many, many years ago, my daughters and their cousin were in the back of the house playing dress-up. Next thing we know, they’re running into the family room singing, “We’re cousins, identical cousins…”
I think she had her share of ups and downs in life especially with marriages. When I heard the news on the radio, all they said was Patty Duke passed away and she was involved with bipolar activism. WTH! She died from a perforated bowel which she became septic. Ugh, horrible way to go. RIP Patty.
Obamaplease.

Yup, one of my early crushes. Besides The Miracle Worker [her Best Supporting Actress role], I remember another movie starring her as a young teen track star….”Billie”….I think I’m one of the few people that actually saw it, but she was my “special sweetie”.
R.I.P., Patty.
“The Patty Duke Show”
I was a Patty fan.
Cathy was too stiff.
Looks like a BFH painting…
Similar style, I’ll have to check the gallery later.
Eternal rest grant unto her, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon her. May the souls of the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.
RIP Anna.
she’s not nuts … anymore.
She helped us overcome our “identical cousin phobia”
RIP
We loved watching the Patti Duke Show reruns when we were kids….”Richard!!…” Was very sad to see that she had passed – especially given her young age of 69. RIP Patti.
A nice lady who did her best to entertain us.
God bless her.
She had a bizarre life, going back to when, as a child, her parents literally gave her away to a married couple of “talent managers”. She lived with them and they ran every aspect of her life.
She was very smart, but she never had a normal life, ever.
I read her autobiography, “Call me Anna” and it was very well written and interesting.
RIP, Anna Marie.
I was in awe of her performance in “The Miracle Worker” when I watched it as a kid. Still one of my favorite films. May she rest in peace.
Yet Hillary lives on, and on, and on, and on, and on………..
RIP Patty

And you know what’s great? I’ve no idea what her politics were, what her sexual or recreational drug habits were and never saw her nipples.
She just made entertainment the people of all ages, races, etc., etc. could watch and forget their everyday troubles for a while.
Another passing from a truly bygone age.

It was a proud parenting moment for all of us. 🙂
Had a couple of good songs too.
