One of my many failings (which I acknowledge and am working on) is when I see public figures wear their faith on their sleeve, my default position is skepticism and cynicism, figuring there is some angle at play. But this guy strikes me as the real deal.
When a sinner, especially one as public and pronounced as Brand, comes back to the faith, there is great celebration in heaven. We need him and all his influence to combat the evil-doers that oppose us.

My eyes watered a little with that wonderful God inspired prayer by Russell Brand. May God hear that prayer and the prayers and many others and deliver us from evil on Nov. 5th if God forbid Kamala Harris becomes president. I see a rout coming that will make Nixon beating McGovern in 72 and Reagan trouncing Mondale in 84 that will make those earlier victories pale in comparison.
That was fricken’ awesome.

Firing Line, Malcolm Muggeridge.
Muggeridge & Buckley, don’t get no better.
When I tell people that I used to look forward to Sunday television shows, it stuns them. They haven’t been worth a shit since Tim Russert died.
Good stuff, Erik ! Thank you
