When a woman lost her cool with another woman outside her office, who was continually screaming “Buy Our Water” at the top of her lungs, she said she was going to call the cops because she was selling without a permit.
The undocumented vendor woman was with her 8 year-old daughter because she recently lost her job and they were going to go to Disneyland, or something.
Allison Ettel, the one who said she was going to call the cops, is getting death threats. Why? Because the people selling the water happen to be black, and you cannot ever confront black people even when you think you are right. Even if it’s the very same thing you would do to anyone no matter what they look like, you simply cannot engage with blacks if the engagement has any negativity whatsoever. This makes you a NAZI and the target for the SJW’s favorite hobby – trying to destroy people just to see if they can.
This is the game being played right now by progressives, even if their targets are progressives. (The lady they are threatening is most likely a prog herself. She lives in San Francisco and peddles medical marijuana.) If you are white you are deserving prey.
But this is a dangerous game.
In exchange for these one-off destructions they will lose at the ballot box, and they will lose sympathy for their causes. They may think this flexing of muscle is a display of power. It is not. It is fomenting animosity towards the left.
In the book The Authoritarian Dynamic, authored by a lefty, Princeton professor Karen Stenner cites studies that conclude that when tax payers are asked to subsidize people who they feel alienated from they tend to turn off the spigot.
No one is going to vote for politicians talking about subsidizing the economic safety net for blacks who think of the white tax payers as “the problem” in society.
This is why I chuckle every time I hear the ignorant and naive Bernie Sanders talk about the wonders of Scandinavian socialist countries that we should emulate.
All-white countries that do not have the sorts of problems we are witnessing in America- SJWs finding ways to attack people for being born white, illegals flooding the border who have no intention of ever assimilating, Muslims who want to import their barbaric Sharia laws- are more willing to part with their money if it isn’t subsidizing people who resent them.
Everyone is encouraged to be tribal when they are non-white. Guess what? Whites can be tribal too. Even progressives, eventually. Why force them to be?

I never once, until now, heard Allison’s side of the story.

Scandinavian countries seem wonderful to me.
I mean, I have never been to one. And I really only know what I read in headlines about them, and pictures, of beautiful, happy people.
Income level? No idea.
Taxes? No idea.

I once was approached by a black man in my front yard who had run out of gas a couple of blocks away. I pointed at the five gallon gas can near me and told him he could have the gas inside to put into his car. He never returned the gas can. You just can’t afford to help some people.

I can’t tell you how many times (California) people would throw flyers in my mailbox for some non-English speaking town that had mostly hispanic/illegal population asking for a YES vote to build a park or playground or community center. As if I would ever be welcomed there. Everything’s written Spanish and the signage is even in Spanish, and only offering Mexican cultural activities.

I have met and talked with Mike Vanderboegh in Colorado Springs. I Remember reading that post over at Sipsey St. Irregulars. I was glad when Mikes son Matt took over the web site. Then, as you know, Matt spiked the guns at Sipsey St. I guess Mike never got his book, ABSOLVED, published. I miss Mike and his clear thinking. Never have heard anything about Rosies well being.
TO AL – “Warning”?!? PFFFT!!! Simple: Mike was trying to appeal to the black guy with REASONING. STUPID 99.99% of the time. Sure, this guy was “nice.” In more cases than not, Mike would have been killed/assaulted on the spot for opening his mouth…this was an EXCEPTION.
Again: He tried to appeal to the grey matter of his listener (but you NEVER know what “the other guy” is thinking). The a$$h*le could have well pulled out a pistol and shot him…Vanderboegh’s right front pocket notwithstanding. His so-called “warning” more likely would have gotten him in a pool of blood, if the listener was “in the mood” and had the means.
