Sludge Report – How much are they paying him to dump on Trump?

PACKS CROWDS???? Trumpgret? There isn’t .05% of the people Trump rallies produce.

Eric Trump- media biased against dad’s corn kernel polling in Iowa

USA Today –

Des Moines television station WHO-HD, which has its own corn kernel poll tracker, found the president has so far received 97% of the votes that went to Republicans as of Tuesday. On the other side, former Vice President Joe Biden is in the lead with 23% of the votes for Democrats and South Bend, Ind. Mayor Pete Buttigieg is in second with 17%. De Blasio is currently shown to have 0% of the Democratic kernels.

The corn kernel vote is a tradition at the Iowa State Fair and has accurately predicted some primary outcomes. Ahead of the 2016 caucuses in Iowa, Hillary Clinton dominated the Democratic corn kernels and went on to win in that state, while Trump also snagged the most Republican kernels but was outpaced in the caucus by Ted Cruz.

The site notes that Democrats and Republicans have received roughly equal votes, indicating that Donald Trump indeed holds the most votes overall at present.

!snip!

So the president has as many kernels than all the dems COMBINED!

And where is Lieawatha in this article?

Drudge is septic tank sludge.

  1. The big current push is the recession charge.
They tried that December of last year, craziest December in pretty much forever for the stock market. Then the quarterly results came out, and… economy was doing great. I predict the same come October, stable gains in general and stock recovery.
The Market is panicky by nature. But companies are looking out for themselves, and if the economy is strong so will they be.

  2. I can’t help to think that all Wall Streeters are now Millennials. They don’t use economic facts or history to trade or manage stocks but only take actions fueled by emotion and the media.

Drudge used to be the first site I’d scan in the morning. It seems schizophrenic now.

  3. According to the MSM, in 2016 Donald Trump was a carnival buffoon who no one would possibly support. Hillary Clinton was a shoo in, and the November election was just a formality.

Now, according to the MSM, Trump supporters are wavering, polls are trending the wrong way, Democrat candidates are charging ahead and Trump is losing steam. This is a far cry from the MSM-predicted Trump/Republican anticipated debacle of 2016, so I suppose that Trump will win in a landslide in 2020. But the MSM are still trying, and maybe they’ll enlist some Russian aid to influence the election (again).

For what it is worth, I told a couple of friends of mine in 2016 that Trump may win although I wasn’t bold enough to proudly make this prediction. This was based solely on the size of Trump’s rallies as opposed to Clinton’s rallies – as P.J. O’Rourke once observed, people don’t show up just to maintain the status quo. Instead of watching the polls, keep track of the crowd size at public appearances – Trump still draws massive crowds at his rallies while all of the current Democrats combined can’t fill a medium sized venue.

  4. I just checked the Drudge report to see how many visits today. 30.5 million in 24 hrs. He don’t need us anymore he can quit pretending that he’s one of us.
    The fucking puke!

… kinda puts it in perspective

  6. A “packed crowd?”

Isn’t that where Democrats pay to bus people in from all over to make it look like they’re popular?

Oh the other hand, maybe she appeals to Millennial’s.

  7. I went to the article linked on Drudge about Pochahontas’ “packed crowd” – it was estimated at 700 people. That’s a far cry from the 12,000 packed into an arena for Trump tonight not to mention the thousands more outside because they couldn’t get in. Wonder why that wasn’t in his headline?

I still go to Drudge for a couple of minutes a day just to see if there is anything that Whatfinger.com missed. Whatfinger is far better with better links because Drudge has been linking more and more to sites with pay walls over the last couple of years I’ve noticed (I suspect he gets paid by them for driving traffic to them). And I strongly suspect that his “page visits” number is greatly inflated by his automatic page refreshing every couple of minutes.

Like a couple of people mentioned, Drudge used to be an “always open” window on my computer since the late 1990’s (before he broke the Monica Lewinsky story). Whatfinger has replaced that over the last few months and some days I just don’t remember to look at Drudge at all.

  8. It’s not just Drudge anymore. Top of the hour AM radio news from Phox Nooz is now claiming that in a poll Trump loses by a minimum of 5 points to Biden, Warren, Bernie and a couple of others. They continually showcase biased reports.
