all of my life the ‘enlightened’ have made fun of po’ whites, ethnic Irish, Italians, Jews (the Scandinavians seemed to have come off pretty well though, eh?) … particularly southern whites … & if you want to be frank, an object of derision since before the North won the Civil War

The same thing was being done to the European Jews in the 1920’s & 30’s. When you dehumanize people, it’s easier to kill them without guilt.

VDH just did an interview with this as the main topic. If I find it later, I’ll post it. While it’s a fascinating look at the inherent narcissism of the Left, in the end it seems little more than interesting. I think it can be boiled down to the fears projected onto White America, in general, by upper, middle-class elitists (including every one of the white teenagers and their assorted university-employed comrades of antifa and BurnLootMurder) who abhor those they deem “uneducated” whites and — truth be known — anyone of color.
No one believes these cossetted children and their professors want to actually hang out with the street “homeless” whom they use as a foil in their grasping for the gold standard of “virtuousness.” Nor do they really want to befriend (or even understand) a young ghetto black who possesses an illegal firearm and has used it in the commission of a crime.
In “My Man Godfrey”, William Powell (The Forgotten Man/Bum) serves an important role in helping to win a contest for a NY socialite who is helping to raise money for “charity”. Once his help is given, his unkempt presence is an embarrassment and he is literally given the bum’s rush with an offer of $5.00 and “Now, run along my good man. Thank you so much! Thank you so, so much!”, said in an overly bright and unmistakably dismissive tone.
VDH talks about how the white kids in the skinny jeans with expensive helmets, skateboards and backpacks are the ones on the perimieter of riots, taking selfies and directing the mob; and of how mostly all of the video of people running in and out of smashed down doors, dragging their loot behind them, are black. Hanson’s observations are correct: white kids with this elitist mindset are still worried about having a criminal record which might damage their future prospects; something they don’t care about for their black comrades.

Powerful article. Highly recommended. Something I’ve observed, in general, unlike poor blacks who tend to live in densely populated urban Democrat controlled cities, poor whites tend to stay in rural, less densely populated areas.
Poor whites also seem to maintain an independent self reliance, most urban blacks just don’t have any desire to put into practice. Not that they’re not capable, most black Americans would rather be dependent on the left who are more than happy to help blacks wreck their lives.
Sure, poor whites living in a large city like Phoenix might be just as brainwashed as urban blacks, but still, poor whites don’t vote in lock step with the left. If anything poor whites tend to be patriotic and in general support conservative caandidates.
