Lid: This coming Tuesday millions of children across America will be putting on their scariest costumes and going door to door asking for candy. Its that Halloween time of the year again. Whether you are a parent or not, whether your children go “trick or treating” or not, I guarantee that your house is going to be swarmed by lots of little ghosts, zombies, Captain Americas, Disney Princesses and vampires. Many of the visitors will be carrying the little orange UNICEF boxes. Please remember when you greet the Kids, give them loads of wrapped candy but please don’t give any money to UNICEF. UNICEF supports terrorism, Antisemtism, and anti-Israel hatred.
Don’t blame the little kids just refuse politely–they are totally unaware as is their parents. Give them an extra Kit-Kat bar and send them on their merry way. The world will be better off.

The March 2013 UNICEF report, “Children in Israeli Military Detention,” is yet another example of UN agencies collaborating with Palestinian advocacy NGOs to promote the demonization of Israel and promote Palestinian propaganda, rather than policy improvements. Furthermore, NGO Monitor has created a report called No Way To Treat A Child, (embedded below) which includes a section (beginning on page 8) which proves each of the charges in the UNICEF report to be wrong.
UNICEF partially funds the British charity, Medical Aid for Palestinians (MAP) which according to the evidence provided by NGO Monitor, supports terrorism and Antisemitism, as well as promoting distorted and false narratives under the guise of medical expertise and scientific fact.
If a unicef worker came to me to have my kid carry one of those? I’d be nice just telling them to go fuck themselves.
My kid trick or treats at the mall with Wifey on the years SHE wants to. Last year she didn’t, this year she is. She turns 8 in Jan, we hide nothing from her.
When we were kids, we would Trick or Treat for Unicef. My brother,would take the money and throw the orange box in the bushes and laugh all the way to the grocery store to buy Hot Wheels. Maybe back in the 60’s it was a decent organization.
Rule of thumb: Never, ever support or have anything to do with anything associated with the United Nations.
When I was a child back in the late 50’s early 60’s, I would trick or treat for “UNICEF” with our Church. If the weather in upstate New York would permit, we’d ride around in the back of a pickup trucks trick or treating with a little cardboard box that looked like a milk container you’d get at the schools.
I’m truly sorry for trick or treat for the UN.
UNICEF containers were passed out at my school in Atlanta in the 50’s. We were told the money would help poor children and nothing about the UN waste and fraud. Would not do it again not permit my children to Trick or Treat for UNICEF>
The only charity that I have found that is any good and actually does something is the Salvation Army, otherwise you are wasting your money.
Another great charity is Samaritans Purse. They’ve done a lot of good after fire and flood disasters. But it’s Christian. Oh the horror.
I would never give any money to anything with U.N. in the title.
I’m waiting for the U.S. to declare them a terrorist organization and kick them into the Atlantic.
