Atheist Called Ben Carson a “Moron” for Believing in God… He Shut Him Down in 1 Brilliant Line
Once, when an atheist called him a “moron” for believing in God, Dr. Ben Carson responded with one brilliant line that put the atheist in his place.
“I believe I came from God, and you believe you came from a monkey,” he told the individual, “and you’ve convinced me you’re right.”
You can read the article here.
Ben Carson’s a good man. I don’t agree with everything he says (gun control) and I don’t believe he should be president, but he should have a place in Trump’s administration.
AGREED!
I like him. We could do infinitely worse.
Clinton, Biden, Sanders.
Say NO! to CBS!
I wouldn’t go so far as to say that line is “brilliant” (it is a very old line), but it is 100% on-target and funny to boot. I do so love seeing humorless zealots getting their asses handed to them.
Can you say, “Surgeon General?”
“Trump is empowering…?” This Trump-mania is getting ridiculous! Ben Carson is the man who rose to political prominence instantaneously when he stood mere feet away from the President of the United States (unfortunate as that title may be) at the National Prayer Breakfast, in front of God and everybody, and shoved Obama’s socialism right back up his ass! And now, suddenly, because he puts a random heckler in his place, it’s because TRUMP gave him the courage? Pshaw!!
Ben Carson is not my candidate, but I have tremendous respect for him. Donald Trump has nothing to do with his fortitude.
I said a similar thing during the Baltimore riots, and my wife kicked me for it.
It went like this…
I believe in creation, however, those feral types are putting up a damn good argument for evolution.
I’d like to buy Dr. Carson a beer and sit and speak with him for a half hour. I admire the man. Wish we had ten thousand more like him.
This is the type of man this country needs as president. I think it would have been easier for him if he had been governor of Maryland first. However, what this country needs above all else is an honest and moral leader. By the way Lowell, I don’t think he drinks.
I read Dr.Carson’s book ‘America the Beautiful’ it’s good. I respect Dr. Carson very much and he will be a big asset to President Cruz.
Trump may be empowering others to fight back, but I think Dr, Carson is perfectly capable of articulating a belief in God and giving a come back line to a heckling Atheist without any pushing from Donald Trump. Speaking of heckling Atheists.,here is a funny video-Atheist Kids’ worship songs. I mention it because it has a evolution song in there:

It made me laugh.
That’s great!
Ol’ Darwin’s rollin in his grave…doh
Carson would be an excellent VP. He’s a very wise man and could reign in Trump, especially when Trump gets too caught up wheeling and dealing. Carson, would also be an asset when wooing more conservative Christian voters.
Also, Carson is getting a little distracted by Trump and needs to stay focused. He’s second in the polls because he slam dunked Obama at the prayer breakfast. Carson may not be aware of the real significance of that moment.
Dr. Carson is a man who puts God first in his life. And for that, I trust the man. Just don’t agree with all of his political positions, and sometimes I feel like he wouldn’t be tough enough to do the ass-kickin’ necessary to restore America to the rightful owners.
God Bless you Ben Carson.
Golly, of course you are not wrong. But what I think is one of the most valuable aspects of Trump’s campaign is that he is opening the doors for all of our candidates to say what we all want them to say without them being the day’s Whack a Mole victim of the media. Trump is giving everyone the opportunity be real. In that regard he is invaluable.
I’m sure that half hour would feel mighty short.
I’d like to see him as our Surgeon General.
