Trump Officially Leaves NY and Makes Florida His Home State

Trump cited high taxes and the awful treatment by NY politicians toward him.

Palm Beach is his domicile.

Epoch Times-

“I hated having to make this decision, but in the end it will be best for all concerned. As President, I will always be there to help New York and the great people of New York. It will always have a special place in my heart!”

“I cherish New York, and the people of New York, and always will, but unfortunately, despite the fact that I pay millions of dollars in city, state and local taxes each year, I have been treated very badly by the political leaders of both the city and state. Few have been treated worse,” he added.

  1. When your place is FULLY bugged by the AIC, you move.

God bless him looking forward to the getting the eff out of NY eventually. I look forward to the same one day (not in FLA though).

We will hear about the visits to his Westminster place in NJ in the future.

Where the future fo the country is plotted out and true and old enemies will be…surmised.

  2. I was kinda hoping the Dakotas or maybe even Wyoming/Montana?

This way, a take over of some territory prior to the New Awakening, would make some sense.

This is a great symbolic statement of leaving Manhattan Neo-Liberalism, pushed by Diblasio.

  3. President Trump, Rush Limbaugh, and who knows how many more millionaires have done the same, fleeing New Yawk (and Kalifornication) to less taxed states (Florida and Texas among others).
Too many “leaders” (koff! BS! koff!) have not learned a basic and simple lesson: the more you tax and the tighter you squeeze, the less “anticipated” income you actually receive. The taxed people will flee to friendlier climes, hide their assets, and/or go underground (black market).
I’m just hoping that New Yawk hasn’t instituted “escape taxes” like Kalifornication has.

“I paid a lot of taxes in California and was treated like crap. I left there too.“

When I left 45 years ago, they still tried to get me to pay taxes there.

  5. POTUS is a product of NY and Queens, and therefore leaving home, for anyone this is tough to do, and this a time for him to move on.

He like others have no other choice…

There was a thread about White Flight and for good reasons.

  6. Reminds me a bit of Matthew 10:14 & 10:15.
“And whosoever shall not receive you, nor hear your words, when ye depart out of that house or city, shake off the dust of your feet. Verily I say unto you, It shall be more tolerable for the land of Sodom and Gomorrha in the day of judgment, than for that city.”

  7. NY politicians: You’re not paying enough. You’re greedy.
NY millionaires: Kiss my ass. Goodbye.

CA politicians: You’re not paying enough. You’re greedy.
CA millionaires: Kiss my ass. Goodbye.

IL politicians: You’re not paying enough. You’re greedy.
IL millionaires: Kiss my ass. Goodbye.

MA politicians: You’re not paying enough. You’re greedy.
MA millionaires: Kiss my ass. Goodbye.

FL and TX are gonna be crowded with millionaires.

  8. Why do we always get those that flee because they turned their state into a shit hole and now they want to do the same in their new state?

I know or have met twenty something people from California and all they do is complain about awful our state is.
Ditto for those from Illinois, have only met one couple who are conservative.
New York folks have a lot better track record, only a few of them are idiots.

  9. @John – reminds as well, the book of Squiggy, 19:77 & 19:78.
“And whosoever shall have not welcome or respected your choade, nor heard your words, when ye depart out of that house or city, shake off the dust of your Gooch. Verily I say unto you, It shall be more tolerable for the land of Sodom and Gomorrha in the day of judgment, than for that city.”

  10. IN is getting too danged many of the Chicago millionaires or probably billionaires. Dang huge houses are infringing on too much farmland. Some homes that are going up look like they couldn’t hide in a mountain.

  11. I gave up my NYS residency the day they elected a carpetbagging liar with delusions of grandeur as she rode her philandering husband’s coattails into higher office as Senator in 2000.

  12. Just remember that the vast majority of middle or upper middle class people that are fleeing high tax and high government life control are likely also bringing the progressive politics that created the situation in the first place. Look no farther then Texas. Huge influx of people and a real chance it will turn Blue.

  13. …sounds like…

“Then there was communism’s weak-tea sister, socialism. Socialists maintained that we shouldn’t take all the money away from all the people since all the people don’t have money. We should take all the money away from only the people who make money. Then, when we run out of that, we could take more money from the people who…hey, wait! Where’d you people go? What do you mean you’re “tax exiles in Monaco?””
