The United States Military just entered the Great State of California and, under Emergency Powers, TURNED ON THE WATER flowing abundantly from the Pacific Northwest, and beyond. The days of putting a Fake Environmental argument, over the PEOPLE, are OVER. Enjoy the water, California!!!

I’m looking forward to reading what Brad has to say about this. Yes, SOCAL needs water, but there are very serious consequences up north if their water is sent south.
Well, as I understand it, vast amounts of water is being dumped out into the Pacific…because, some mythic micro-fish, or something. Re-directing that flow down south should not impact Northern Cali any more than it already has been.
Just my 10,000 ft. view from the top of Texas.

The only consequence to northern ca if water is sent south is that socal will wake up and vote their pelosi/newsom-infested rulers out of office.

Our lakes should be just about bone dry in a couple weeks. So I guess California is really just Southern California. Lot’s of problems here. First off our water is still managed by criteria established by the army corp of engineers back in the late 1950’s. I’d take a wild guess and say that 60% of our rainfall end up out to sea. No new reservoirs in over 11 years. Primarily due to the Sierra Club and over regulation. SoCal Coastal Commission will not allow water desalinization plants. The entire thing is a cluster. I’m not sure turning NorCal into a desert is the answer. I get Trumps a busy guy but why drain NorCal after the fires?
“Well, as I understand it, vast amounts of water is being dumped out into the Pacific…because, some mythic micro-fish, or something.”
No. The Delta smelt was used to stop a project called The Twin Tunnels. Which would have destroyed the California Delta and all agriculture around it. The Twin Tunnels would have been like flushing a toilet and sending all of our water down south. It’s not like they don’t have a constant supply of our water. No one seems to realize they have the The California Aqueduct system which is always full to the top and always moving south. I dunno.
Brad…the view is always different at ground zero.
I like the idea of de-sal plants…been pestering our state-house congress critters, down south, about seriously looking into it, for several years now. They’re forever brewing up new schemes to try and steal our limited groundwater in order to it pipe down into ‘The Triangle’ super metroplexes. Here in the Panhandle, the vast majority of ours is aquifer-sourced (Ogallala & Santa Rosa). What snow-melt/rain-fed surface water we do manage to glean, out of the Canadian & Red Rivers, is pretty much statistically insignificant…at least from an agricultural perspective. There are vital municipal reservoirs along its course.
Didn’t know the SC Coastal Commission won’t allow the plants…what’s their rationale I wonder? It’s not like the technology is untried or of questionable viability. Israel has been turning deserts into viable farmland, with it, for 20 years or more.
Not going to be too critical of y’all’s governing paradise, however…Beam & Eye kinda thing…we have our own Marxist-fueled Charlie-Foxtrot going full steam ahead down in Austin.
