Unmasking Documents Hidden Away In Obama’s Presidential Library

Judicial Watch’s effort to gain access to documents related to the unmasking of American citizens during Obama’s term in office has been dealt a blow because of the transfer of the materials from the National Security Council to Obama’s Presidential Library.

The items will then be unavailable to independent investigators for up to five years.

Where exactly were the documents deposited? Obama’s library won’t be completed till 2020 or 2021. So where are these materials being stored and is it a secured facility?

  1. I hope Judicial Watch files another suit based on the argument that documents that had been legitimately subject to Freedom of Information Act requests cannot be sheltered therefrom merely by a change in what organization holds them. I can just imagine, for extreme example, the DOJ sending documents to the NIH for storage in patient databases.

  2. “They” won’t get away with it. You can’t legally play a shell game with official gov’t docs. This would have been like Nixon sending the 18 mins. of tape to his “Library.” Same thing.

  3. Jon Ossoff is ranting on CNN as if he won???
Don Lemon visibly upset. John King very sad, “splain’ what they have to do next year to win. Larry Sabato “depressing for Democrats.” Indeed.

  4. Not true, the President can request them. The Five year rule does not apply in this case because there is no library. They belong to the American People and must be returned.

  5. He doesn’t even have a frickin library yet. This is pretty brazen, almost desperate. You need to hound the hell out of him, PDT. We have had it up to here with Dems and secret servers in their basement. Please tell me the State Department doesn’t have a SCIF in Kalorama Kastle.
