Pops took me to watch these guys when I was like 10 years old. L.A. Coliseum I believe. We both laughed until we cried. Strangely I remember it like it was yesterday. For about a solid year MEADOW LARK LEMON was my hero.

12 year old me and my friends saved our money to get tickets to see them in 1971.
Get there that afternoon to see them and there they are, outside the building holding picket signs.
They went on strike and didn’t play.
We were very disappointed.
