“Mental illness” seems to run in this family. Apparently the parents weren’t exactly forthcoming in their public statement.
The true mental illness lies with anyone who willfully covers for them. Muslims hold their beliefs as truth based on the tenets of their faith. They are clear eyed and determined in their convictions. It’s the libs who refuse to believe them.

It is a futile exercise to try and figure out motive. The resulting violence of a murderous attack are the same no matter what drives it. People are still dead. Attribute it all to terrorism even if you’re not sure, and let God sort it out.
