Love the German Short-haired Pointer! A good friend of mine has a pair of GSHP sisters that I look after, when he goes on road trips. Sweet dogs!
No photos of working ferals?
A service rat? Reminds me of an old joke about Don Rickles.
The ants go marching one by one, hurrah, hurrah… Thank you as always for the Sunday morning critter pictures.
Is a canary in a coal mine a working critter?

.
Great way to acknowledge the holiday, Claudia.
I love the expression on the German Shepherd.
Those ants are doing more work in their small world than millions of gimmedats do in their entire lives.
Dont lie to me.
Cats dont work.
Photo of Peregrine Falcon was a nice treat, thanks Claudia
Of course they do. My cats keep the elephants and alligators out of the house. They are very effective since I’ve never seen a single elephant or alligator get past them.
Sherman and Roscoe are very proficient at dispatching the big hairy nasty wolf’s head spiders that try to get inside during the Fall
I’ll be the first to admit that I’m not much of a cat person, but… we have a feral cat that adopted ‘us’ about 4 years ago. We can now only get to within about 5′ of it. Best damn mouser we’ve ever had. We constantly find headless mice around the ranch. Even found a jackrabbit it caught and ate. That is a fight I would have like to have seen!
With the drought, we started supplementing her with some food a few years ago. Heck, she’s worked for it as well as earned it.
Great collection, Claudia. Hope all here have a safe and enjoyable Labor Day Weekend.
Claudia, I hope you have somebody that tells you every day…I love you. your posts always make me smile
Oh, I used to have a German Shorthair Pointer and they are terrific dogs!! Also love the draft horses, honeybees and falcon…but all are wonderful photos!
I’ll have to use that next time. Thanks, Jethro!
Awwww, thanks, bison guy! Zoe kitty makes sure I get my daily purrs and head butts (it’s a kitty thing). Friends and family go the more traditional route!
Police dog. ?

Awwwww! I’m going to use that one sometime!
The police dog reminds me of my Buddy. He has raised the heart rate of many who thought they could walk up to the truck and pet him.
“Oh, look at the nice pupp…., YEOWIE!!” lol
