WV Coal Miners Push Electric Car to Charging Station

Red State

Five coal miners in West Virginia assisted a tourist whose electric vehicle died on the road by pushing the car up to their plant in order to recharge it on Friday, WTRF reported.

Republican state Sen. Randy Smith of Tucker County, who works at the mine, shared the moment on Facebook.

โ€œSome days are just better than others. Today at our mine off Corridor H an electric car from DC ran out of battery at the road entrance to the mine,โ€ Smith said in his post. โ€œSomeone called one of our foreman and told him a car was broke down in the middle of our haul road. He went to investigate and found out they had indeed ran out of juice coming from DC to Davis for a get away weekend.โ€ More

  1. I think I’m gonna just tow around a Diesel Generator on a trailer, charging virtue signaling liberals smart phones with wheels “EV’s” for gobs and gobs of inflated currency. It’s not like this problem is going away anytime soon. lolz

“I think Iโ€™m gonna just tow around a Diesel Generator on a trailer, charging virtue signaling liberals smart phones with wheels โ€œEVโ€™sโ€ for gobs and gobs of inflated currency.”

…this is actually a joke about a snowplow driver, but I’ll modify it for your proposed situation.

…a hot young California woman was driving her EV down a long, lonely Western road miles from anything one dark night when she found out she had miscalculated her air conditioner usage because her car battery died. Her cell phone was also dead and she was miles from anything anyway, so she started to settle in for a unpleasant night in her tiny car in the rapidly cooling night to the sound of coyotes howling ever nearer.

Suddenly, a light of hope split the gathering gloom, as a truck towing a diesel generator suddenly appeared! She rubbed her eyes in amazement, but it was no mirage, there was a big, beautiful Ford F350 pickup towing a Generac shining its lights right on her!

The truck rolled to a stop a few feet away, the driver descending from the cab as the extended cab truck gug-gugged gently at idle as diesels do. Assessing the situation, the driver smiled at her and said cheerily, “Howdy, ma’am! Sure are a lot of folks in EVs headed for Cali on this road that run out of power in these parts! That’s why I gots me this here generator! You’ll be the third pregnant lady I’ve charged up this week!”

Pleased at the help but flustered at the description of her because of her carefully toned body with its flat belly, she said, “Thank you, sir, but I’m not pregnant!”

To which he smiled more broadly than ever and replied, “And you’re not charged up yet, either!”

  3. Gas vs electric. You can carry extra gas but you can’t carry extra electricity. I wouldn’t drive my car without a spare tire either. Car manufacturers tried the electric car crap back in its early years of car manufacturing. It was quickly abandoned – not sustainable for modes of transportation. To this day, it’s proving to look more that way as well.

  4. The dumbass libtards are so blinded by their emotion-based ideology – including the idiot woke corporate boards – that they will bankrupt one or more of the legacy big three automakers in pursuit of sniffing their unicorn farts
