You’ll wanna read this – it’s by a “conservative”

This opinion about lazy Americans comes from a guy who pushes a pencil around and collects a check for his opinions, and he’s married to a music critic, one of the most pretentious and useless occupations one can think of.

“Oh, please lady, tell me what you like so I can like it. What would I ever do without you?”

This lump of toilet rim crud, Bret Stephens, is an ardent NeverTrumper. The comment section of this praised article is filled with people calling Trump voters despicable, useless, the real problem, stupid, in the way of progress and dangerous.

Stephens concurs, I’m sure.

NY Times-

Only Mass Deportation Can Save America

In the matter of immigration, mark this conservative columnist down as strongly pro-deportation. The United States has too many people who don’t work hard, don’t believe in God, don’t contribute much to society and don’t appreciate the greatness of the American system.

They need to return whence they came.

I speak of Americans whose families have been in this country for a few generations. Complacent, entitled and often shockingly ignorant on basic points of American law and history, they are the stagnant pool in which our national prospects risk drowning.

On point after point, America’s nonimmigrants are failing our country. Crime? A study by the Cato Institute notes that nonimmigrants are incarcerated at nearly twice the rate of illegal immigrants, and at more than three times the rate of legal ones.

Educational achievement? Just 17 percent of the finalists in the 2016 Intel Science Talent Search — often called the “Junior Nobel Prize” — were the children of United States-born parents. At the Rochester Institute of Technology, just 9.5 percent of graduate students in electrical engineering were nonimmigrants.

Religious piety — especially of the Christian variety? More illegal immigrants identify as Christian (83 percent) than do Americans (70.6 percent), a fact right-wing immigration restrictionists might ponder as they bemoan declines in church attendance.

Business creation? Nonimmigrants start businesses at half the rate of immigrants, and accounted for fewer than half the companies started in Silicon Valley between 1995 and 2005. Overall, the share of nonimmigrant entrepreneurs fell by more than 10 percentage points between 1995 and 2008, according to a Harvard Business Review study.

Nor does the case against nonimmigrants end there. The rate of out-of-wedlock births for United States-born mothers exceeds the rate for foreign-born moms, 42 percent to 33 percent. The rate of delinquency and criminality among nonimmigrant teens considerably exceeds that of their immigrant peers. A recent report by the Sentencing Project also finds evidence that the fewer immigrants there are in a neighborhood, the likelier it is to be unsafe.

Bottom line: So-called real Americans are screwing up America. Maybe they should leave, so that we can replace them with new and better ones: newcomers who are more appreciative of what the United States has to offer, more ambitious for themselves and their children, and more willing to sacrifice for the future.

  1. “The United States has too many people who don’t work hard, don’t believe in God, don’t contribute much to society and don’t appreciate the greatness of the American system”

So, he’s leaving on his own?

  2. It’s useless, smarmy, sanctimonious members of the “chattering class” like him that need to be deported. His written words add no tangible returns to anyone but him and the morons that pay him. He was worthless at the WSJ and now he’s worthless at the NYT. America would be a better place without him and his ilk.

  3. The “chattering class”.

I love it. Wonder if this pixie has ever realized if he and his wife were ever stranded on a deserted island with a working man he would be dead inside 1 minute and his wife might not make any noise when she farts from then on.

  4. I wonder if we people back the numbers which group of Americans we will find that he thinks need to be deported- perhaps to Liberia- I hear a dog whistle again from the racist NYT

  5. OT:

Counter is now calling PDJT a “jackass”!

Find it at Breitbart. (Sorry, I haven’t figured how to link yet on this Android! Typing on the tiny keyboard is enough to deal with tonight.)

  6. 3%, that’s phucking it. I’m sure it is a much higher number
now. Trump is in the house and the libfucks are whining. Damn
near time to just erase them.

  7. Brad has a good idea. Someone needs to do a screenplay about a selection of people crashed on an island.

As time goes on, their behavior reflect the politics of the U.S. Conservatives pull together and try to build. The liberals/leftists either try to sponge off the labor of others, to manipulate their way into control, or to destroy it.

The right eventually kills the left as a mortal threat to everyone on the island, and the tiny society is better for it.

    I’d watch that movie.

  8. I’d agree with this screed “writer’s” title and first paragraph……but not in the way he intended.
Deport the illegal aliens AND the Libtards AND the muzzies (“peaceful” or not). I think after that, American Western civilization would be a lot easier to rebuild. We could once again become St Reagan’s “shining beacon on a hill”, the envy of the world.

  9. Kinda obvious why the New York Times picked this asshole as their “Conservative” columnist, isn’t it?
They would NEVER select a Conservative that is truly representative of our cause.

  10. This guy is an arrogant azzhole and wants to play by his set of rules. Hey Stephens, here are my rules — I always have felt entitled to your stuff, so fork it over. Oh, and my rules also entail deporting anyone named Bret Stephens. One law that immigrants do know better than most is welfare and benefits laws. They know those systems and regs and requirements inside out, game the schitt out of them, and rip us off to the max extent possible. they know the exact date when grandma is eligible to receive our social security money.

  11. This is just the natterings of ‘non-essential’ tradesmen.
The ones who perform useless tasks to please the sophists who smell their own farts for a living.
In a real crisis these pukes will become loose leaves in the gale.
    They are chaff

  12. Is this Stephens attempt to counter the blowback he received over his climate change piece? I didn’t click on the immigrant v nonimmigrant links to said studies but have to wonder if they categorized sectors within the groups.
For instance, the purported nonimmigrants with higher incarceration & out of wedlock births, I believe would demonstrate higher numbers in the black community. Is he suggesting in a glib way we deport blacks? Certainly not, but he’s disingenuous in conflating generalities without digging deeper into the reasons why a particular sector of nonimmigrant population exceeds those of immigrants. Further, I don’t fully trust immigrant statistics produced by our govt, particularly under obama. It’s a fact they played fast & loose when it came to protecting “undocumented persons”.

  13. What a hunk of sh#t. Using phony stats to degrade his fellow americans. His whole argument could only be true if it was directed at himself and those like him.

  14. One other thing…I really get pissed when I hear mudslingers like him refer to themselves as conservative. The likes of him, Paul Ryan etc are not conservative.

  15. Deplorable try at satire, Johnathan Swift he aint.
I particularly draw offense at his is attempt to draw education into the mix.
Hey asshole, who educated our youth?
Remove the blacks and Progs from your equations and get back to me, eh?

  16. And you could easily drown in a river with an average depth of one foot.Have you any other meaningless statistics for us to titter over?
And one more thing, I’m proud to be lazy. In fact I’m so lazy I find the easiest way to get the job done right the first time that I needn’t waste effort redoing it. And if anyone wants to use the stairs when an elevator is present, I’m not going to praise your extra work.
