Black college professor suspended after saying some Black Lives Matter members ‘should be hung’

BPR:

An African-American college professor has been suspended after video emerged of him saying some Black Lives Matter members “should be hung.”

Grand Canyon University professor Toby Jennings made the comments last September at a ministry forum called “God’s concern for the poor: What’s missing in social justice,” Fox 10 reported.

The school shared a link to the video yesterday which angered some in the Black Lives Matter movement.

The offensive remarks:

“You have folks that participate in it on one side that are very thoughtful about the matter and then on the other side, you have people on the opposite side of that who frankly should be hung … and I did say that on video. They are saying things that are not helpful in any shape or form or human dignity or flourishing,” he said.

  1. He should have known what the reaction was going to be. Hell, the moment he failed to wholeheartedly support BLM he have realized that people were going to come after him. I’m still waiting for a black leader of national note to come out and say what BLM actually is. If you look at the creation of the group and it’s functioning you realize that it was founded on a lie and only serves to inflame race relations while serving to enrich the leaders of the national and local groups. We have a BLM chapter here in Toronto and two of it’s founding members are involved in fraud and influence peddling and it spends it’s time bullying other minority groups when it’s not hustling grant money for it’s top folks. The governments (all levels) as well as the cops are too damn intimidated to do anything about it.
