Make of this what you will, but CNN just broke the news that Ben Carson, currently in fourth in Iowa, will not travel to the next two primary states, and will instead go home once Iowa has voted.
Does this mean he expects to drop out? Your guess is as good as mine.

Ben should had bowed out a long time go. When the stories in his book came out I knew then he didn’t have a rats as in hell to be President. People don’t want another black President after what we’ve experienced from the one we have. Yeah, go ahead and say “what a racists statement.” Not racists at all. Doctors don’t make good Presidents or politicians. He would have real problems with entertaining dignitaries in the WH due to his religion. He’s not a match and it will not surprise me when he drops out. He sees the handwriting on the wall.
P.S. I see him playing the role of Surgeon General.
Iowa is not the ultimate decider of this race by a long shot. It’s always good to come in first in any state, but it’s not even a winner take all state. Of course if it was a tight race for Ben Carson his leaving the race would make so sense at all. But his polling numbers have been consistently low — as have everyone’s except the top four. There’s 99.999% doubt he would even win one state, let alone enough to carry the nomination. So I’m mystified as to why he and people like Gilmore, Graham and others are still in it. They are still in it, aren’t they?
On the other hand, it’s too early to make long-term predictions and anything can happen between now and the convention.
