This reminds me of the airport alert system that was rushed into effect right after 9/11. Remember the lights in the airports? They ended up on yellow and never changed. That lasted about a year before everyone ignored them and then they were soon pulled down.

What a bunch of socialist miseducated tools. They know nothing about color for media. According to the color wheel, red is a primary color, along with blue and yellow. Beside black and white the primary colors are the most intense and pure. All other colors are made from the primaries, including purple, what these idiots think is magenta – a whole other discussion.
Purple in fact is a secondary color along with green and orange. All made from the primary colors. Purple is made of red and blue specifically, which reduces the intensity of the color and moves it towards the blue side of the color spectrum.
Blue is considered a ” cool” color and red a “warm” color. That fact alone proves why red is always used as a color for alerts, warnings and urgency – sometimes even yellow. Red is a perfect color to represent heat risk, even if it’s a symbol of fictitious Climate Change.
It gets your attention quickly.
